Got my Geiselle Match Hi-Speed trigger today. That was the last part I needed to complete it. I have an A2 stock on there now that doesn't give a good cheek weld with the scope/mount I have on there now. I can't find a Magpul PRS in 308 to save my life either. I've got one on back order....

I like that setup RUM. Im going for the rifle length PRI Delta forearm with the SPR top rail. Thinking of a different stock though.

Done. Here it is.
Got a load worked up for a 1000 yard match in a few weeks, its shooting better than my Remington 700P. Load is: 155 Lapua Scenar Hornady Brass 46.6gr Varget CCI-200 primer 2.810" OAL 2700 fps. .5"-.75" groups.

Hi everyone,
I wanted to know people's thoughts on the Syrac adjustable gas block for the MEGA barrels. I have one on my 16" MEGA barrel but I could just as easily put on a DD .750 low profile that I have as well. The question is: anyone played around with the Syrac on a MEGA barrel? If the gas port on the MEGA is properly sized there may be no need for an adjustable. I am firing commercially available 762x51 (Federal M80 147gr/150gr) and regular 308 (PPU, AE, etc, 150gr). A few weeks ago I learned the difference a properly sized gas port makes switching between my SpecialOps Tactical upper and an off-the-shelf RRA. Holy CRAP is that RRA overgassed! Apex Centurion 14" JP IMHO I think the JP and Centurion look the best. If you have the rifle length gas system not sure if the centurion will cover the gb or not. The centurion costs more, but keep in mind it has the full length top rail and QD attachments built in, those will all cost extra for the others. JP doesn't come with much, if you are even thinking of putting a top rail on it, order it at the same time, it will save a ton of time when you install the handguard to get it lined up. I have the JP and love it, but if I add a top rail I think I will have to reinstall it, I swear it looked lined up until I put the barrel in. |

Well, I hate to do this with supply shortages but my build won't be completed anytime soon.
It appears DSG has some black PRSs in stock. DSG- Magpul PRS Hopefully I can find one when I'm ready to purchase. Enjoy. Out of stock now... and right when I have the funds to purchase... knew that would happen lmao. |

I was originally going to go with a Black Rain rail but learned the hard way there were two heights on the DPMS uppers. The Wilson uses the same high height as the Mega. |

I have several Apex handguards.
Very light, narrow, and easy to hold. The rail sections are extra, but I like the fact I do not have rails the entire length of the handguard. |

Almost completed my first 308, Mega Maten Rifle Length upper and lower.
Dpms pattern 762 Industries BCG Griffin Armament 7.62 Tactical Compensator Mega Arms 18" Barrel AR10 Rifle length spring and buffer Magpul PRS stock in foliage green. Magpul grip in black for now, going to pick up a foliage green grip asap. Timney Trigger 4lbs And, after tons of testing, reviewing, researching etc., I decided on a Trijicon TA648-308G. Going to stick with the TA75 mount for now, and once I recover from the above $ spent, I will contemplate what mount to use if I find the stock mount to suck so bad I need another. As well, a Tango Down bipod. |

I have an fde Noveske, a few black rifles. I like the foliage more than the OD, and most importantly, it has the best color match to my area...

I sold my Sig 716 when the panic started, but vowed to get another .308 AR and wanted to try customizing my own; enter the Mega Maten MKM keymod kit! Saw one in the funshop a few months back and bought it on the spot. I didn't realize how time consuming the process of researching and deciding on what parts to use and where to buy. This thread has been a big help! I've spared no expense on the things I wanted for it...
Once the barrel and muzzle device arrives I plan to get her put together and ready for next week! |
