Anyone know anything about a lower with the Roll Mark 'DOW' BY Mega??? I got one for an early Christmas present at Thanksgiving and it looks like an excellent made lower. THANX––M/sgtGENO

Is there a company that sells multiple peoples recievers....Im hoping to order 4 or 5 and hold onto em until this new ban sorts itself out. I figure 4 or 5 from different manufacturers could come in handy compared to just 4 or 5 from one company. Figure if I order them all at once from a dealer...i can pay the back ground once instead of 5 times from each company individually.

Here are my panic buy lowers due to the election. Luckily, I ordered them right away when I saw the election result at 10pm, so I paid for them at normal price: $99 - Aero Precision, $115 - Spike's Tatical and $120 - Stag 6.8mm.
It seems to me that Spike lower was made by Aero Precision. They both look identical.

Bought an L.A.R. Grizzly stripped lower last nite. I'm sorry if I contributed to the goughing of late by buying at $175 OTD, but when he said he just got some in(18 left) and didn't know when he'd be getting again, I jumped on it.

I found a dealer with a couple of Double Star lowers. I noticed LAR and JVP are milling their lowers. I am sure about the LAR but not so sure about the JVP. Any thoughts about the JVP? Is there any where to identify if they are LAR or JVP?

Might want to update a few things...
Spikes old ones were LAR not MMS. It's the other way around. MMS are their new ones. Mega never had teflon coating. They use their own special anodizing mix. The mega rep only has 2 posts on here and they were to straighten that out. |

According to Spike's Tactical, their bullet selector lowers are low shelf, not high shelf. Same goes for their safe/fire lowers.

Years ago I learned who made Bushmasters lowers for them. I brought it up with a group of people that did not know. The next day I was contacted by the company that actually makes them and offered a bunch of goodies to STFU. I have kept to my word and never opened my mouth about it again. But the information you have listed for bushmaster is wrong. At least it was 6 years ago.

Every AR "manufacturer" likes it's customers to think they make their products (not many actually do), and the actual suppliers sign non-disclosure agreements. So unless the "manufacturer" admits who makes their parts, the customers are left to guess.
