Bushmaster skinny hand guards are easy to find. They are pretty good quality and most would not know the difference.

I got a TA01NSN, a TA31RCO-M4CP, and just got a killer deal on a TA31H with the green horseshoe. One of the ACOG's was going to be moved to my AUG A3 CQC (can't afford a ELCAN Spector) and the Eotech 553 was moved to my Block II with DD FSP build. My Block I posted earlier has the TA01NSN, but I really like the TA31 series with the BDC. All AR's were Colt built with Colt 14.5" SOCOM barrels, so ballistics matches those published by Trijicon. |

The ACOG on my issue m4 is a run of the mill TA31 with the red chevron. It exceeded my wildest expectations on ruggedness and usefulness.
My GLSSC wears a TA01NSN with a jpoint piggybacked. |

SA is the only production 1911 pistols that I have anymore - not to say that others aren't reliable, but with their production offerings, customer service and warranty, I don't spend my money with anyone else. Great pistol though. I wouldnt hesitate to go MCO, If I were you.

I have an Aimpoint on one of my SBR's, and I got to tell you, I prefer the Eotech for a red dot system, my eye just picks it up better. I think the RMR would do everything you need for CQB |

Im not selling because I dont like it. More so to fund a scope for the MK12 and the Aimpoint works well for a patrol rifle. Im not opposed to an EOtech but for the price, a PRO is tough to beat. |

While I do love the ACOG on your rifle I think a Pro with a magnifier would be one hell of a setup for your uses.

View Quote If you have followed the evolution of the rifle, you would see that I have had a Compm2 on it before. I really liked the setup and I have had CompM2's in the past. The 4MOA dot is fast up close but I was just not finding the precision I wanted out of it. The PRO is 2MOA and has the same profile as the CompM2. I think im going to like it on there. If I find that I need more distance (which I shouldnt given the rifle fills the role of a Close to medium range patrol rifle and doubles as my active shooter rifle) I will pick up a magnifier. The PRO will go into a well used Wilcox mount and will fit the theme of the rifle well I think. Im currently gathering parts to put together another MK12 Mod 1 So I think I have the medium to long range covered in that. |
