I'm going to say no....private contractors maybe....lots of Gov. agencys use Bushmaster and RRA, no official military currently issues them that I know of, someone else may come along and say otherwise.

That's kind of what I'm thinking, too.  Bushmaster has supposedly built guns for foreign aid distribution.  I'm pretty certain the other makers probably seek such a market or direct sale to other nations also?  Or maybe they are so small they simply do not have the capacity to meet potential orders.

We just supplied the Philippines with M4 they already had some Armalites and Stags down there. We have also supplied Thailand with M4s and I'm pretty sure they bought Armalites last time but I can't be 100% sure. While in Brazil I have seen Armalites as well.

While I was at a military base in Lima Peru I saw a few Bushmaster M4s and I know of a few other South American countries that have some Bushmaster M4s mainly Ecuador and Columbia. We have a Georgia order for M203s that we manufacture they tell us these are to be installed on Bushmaster M4s.

I have also seen Armalite AR10s in Israeli. We also supplied Israeli with LWRC uppers on our lowers.

While I South Africa we saw a few Sabre Defense guns.

In Mexico I have seen almost all US makes of M4 lots of DPMS and Colt M4s, a few of ours too. I will be in Chile at the end of month they also have many DPMS M4s.

While In Argentina last Aug I saw flyers for DD M4s so maybe by now they have a few IDK.

Turkey should have SW M4s by now they beat us out based on price.

Ares has supplied a few militaries with belt fed ARs.

High Standard has supplied a few militaries as well not sure which ones. Same for LMT, we were up against LMT for the British contract but lost out in the final stages just like we did for the US SASS trials. I know Singapore is looking at the LMT right now.

There are a few Bushmasters in the US armory not many but a few. There are LMT, KAC, DSA parts on US M4s though.

We work the foriegn military markets pretty hard for a small manufacture we travel a lot and see a lot, and a lot are COLTs LOL

Oops, forgot to ask;

Are pretty much all these guns full auto versions or have you ever seen semiauto 15/16's?

Never seen ARMALITE here in Brazil with LE/ARMY. Some gun collectors does have.
The most of AR rifles with LE/Armed Forces guys are BUSHMASTER, COLT AR15, M16 (including Commando) and M4.

AFAIK the US military only uses FN and Colt M16/M4 rifles. All the FN's I've seen have been M16A4s. There are some full auto/burst conversion AR15s in the military. I've seen those old relics being issued to Guard soldiers.

Most, if not all of the contractors I saw were using busmaster AR15s, pretty sure they were just semi though.

as for Italy,
the Beretta is the standard issued rifle of course but some units can get better toys to play with.

there's only one unit using Bushmaster (M4).
all other M4s are made by Colt;

30+ years ago the Navy acquired some ArmaLite AR10 but today our SF are issued the KAC SR25 as SASS rifle. I dont know if they're getting the M110 as well.

a couple of years ago I saw a pic on a magazine of  a Bushmaster .308 issued to a LE Counter Terrorism unit as sniper rifle.

ETA for pics (in order Colt, KAC, Bushy)

Most likely this upper was not paid for by the army, but it is getting used.

DSArms_FAL, nice post btw.  Very informative.  Not that it will win Jeopardy or anything but stuff like that is why I love this place.

Funny to see.......especially since my buddy won the contract to supply M4s to them.....this was basically the largest order bushmaster ever received from my friend.....weird to see them captured, most were burned

The USAMU Squad Designated Marksman course uses special accurized COTS Armalite produced rifles. So in the strictest sense, the US Army DOES use the Armalite M15, although in a limited role.

That was an HHC arms room somewhere in 2ID at Fort Lewis, IIRC - Army.

It was a Bushmaster lower and a DPMS 1/9 HBAR barrel.

Peruivian Special Forces:

No, your eyes don't deceive you - that's a select fire Carbon 15 9MM.

Malaysian PASKAU (SAS):

Go here:

http://www.thegunzone.com/556dw-19.html

Then search within the pages for the manufacturer you want, or just search "FMS" and you'll have plenty of hits.

Also, within the U.S. military, there are a small number of Sabre Defence M16A4s and A3s out there.

I've seen all four of those in the U.S., too.  Not necessarily military use, though.

(your location says Texas.)

That wasn't the question, it was U.S. or foreign military issue/use.  You've not clarified whom you swaw using them or in what country.  Contractors use all sorts of stuff (whatever their company buys) which is an interesting topic of its own, but not what the OP asked.

A friend of mine worked for Hart Security in Iraq and his team all had Bushmaster CAR15A2  types with thicker barrels even though some bought their own SBR uppers for vehicle use..

Many simulation rifles used on the ISMT by the USMC are made by Bushmaster. They are all real parts, converted to fire lasers at a screen for training.

playing with google images I found this old pic, early 90s I guess, of the Italian San Marco Regiment (our Marines)...
from the pistol grip seems like they were issued some Olympics
