Thanks Guys!
Love the URX III, light weight , well built, great craftmenship... But I had a hard time finding someone to install it, after a search I found Valkarie in SoCal they did a great job. Put a few hundred rounds... But it gets hot. You need the 3 rail panels up front as a back up when the AFG 2 and rail gets too hot.

Specs:

LMT Defender 2000
16" LMT C/L 1/7 Carbine with Vortex FH
LMT H-Buffer
KNS Anti-rotation pins
Noveske QD end plate
Spikes FA BCG w/ upgraded BCM extractor and o-ring
Magpul MiAD
Magpul CTR
Magpul AFG II
Ampoint T1 LaRue QD tall mount
SureFire Scout with LaRue offset QD mount
Knights Armament URX III
Knights Armament Combat trigger guard
Daniel Defense BUiS
And a hungry appetite :)

I decided that I was done playing games, I had 2 AR's that I monkey'd up with this and that part and that rail just to make something work that that I envisioned. All the while what I ended up with was 2 AR's that I spent a lot $$ on that pretty much was good for nothing. It seems that we can very easily spend a lot more on a gun that is just ok than it costs to build something of quality.
So like I said no more kung fu bolt on junk. I kept it as simple as I could and refused to settle for less on this one and spent less money. Couldn't be happier.

I bought it in '99 along with some accessories for $1000 from a friend who was short on cash, and it was my first AR.

I may catch hell from the Colt purists, but I sent the upper to Adco after the ban expired and had the barrel gov't profiled and threaded, a lugged FSB installed, and an A2 suppressor installed. I cannot recall the last time she was fired, and she's my only Colt AR.
