modified my HK MR556 upper to run FA by making a sear relief area as well as adding a sear trip to the "too short" meat on the bottom of the carrier...

Finally obtained one of my dream rifles. I've always loves the legacy look and was able to piece this one together using all KAC parts. The barrel is one of the six 16" Christmas cheer specials. Hard to say since I had some of the parts already but I think I ended up building it for around $1800.

I really like the MP5 VFg but didn't want to drop near $100 for one. I had the gear sector handstop and the KAC VFG so.... I chopped up a section of tango down rail to make a spacer that fits between the hand stop and VFG. Shaved a notch in the section so it wraps around the KAC VFG base and bam poor man's MP5 VFG.
