Zeroed the Pro today at the range.  She's heavy, but a tack-driver and I dialed the gas way down so with the rifle length gas and the A1 recoil spring and buffer, there is virtually no felt recoil.  One of my best builds so far.  God Bless my fellow Patriots.

i had  taken the RIS II off  and put a keymod rail on the mid length, but i found myself missing the old feel so it went back to its original beauty today, back to having a matching pair.

Love the CMR. It's picky as far as gas blocks go (i altered this one inside the rail to accept a .750 barrel with Syrac adjustable block, wasn't too difficult) but mounting was a breeze and it's been a joy to shoot. The covers are best in class as far as grip and heat protection go. Just make sure the barrel and gas block you have in mind will work, but it's easy enough to alter to fit like I did if necessary.

I usually run it on the left side on some other guns. However, I like it on the bottom of this URX upper because it acts as a handstop, it makes a slimmer profile with the light on the bottom and its not really hard to active the light. I just use a top section of my pointing finger to activate it. Gloves or no gloves makes no difference.
