My blaster after a day at the range. The optic is like the rest of the rifle, formerly owned and painted by Finslayer83. I was banging steel plates at 200-300 yards with it this afternoon with Wolf Gold.

What I want to know is if you have to remove the front swing swivel loop to put that extended magpul handgaurd on.  I'm assuming so, but just curious if it's actually tucked in there......

I'll state the obvious things, which you know probably better than me.

Trijicon MRO
MOE SL stock (which freaking love)
magpul handgaurd with some kind of light mount, I'm assuming  it's from magpul too....
Stag lower
Magpul buis rear
I forget the name of those grips....
BAD device thingy

But you're probably wondering about the length of the barrel and can?   The light seems like one I don't normally see also....

It is a cool set up.

Thanks! I like it a lot so far. You got it mostly right.

Its an Ergo grip, which I'm partial too.
The light mount is actually an Impact Weapons Components (IWC) Mount, Extended
The light itself is an Elzetta Alpha I got from Black Sheep Warrior who were great to do business with. That little Elzetta isn't the brightest light out there, but for it's size and role, was really impressive. I wanted to be able to mount a light as far forward as possible, but the lights I had were extending past the muzzle when I had the can off. This little guy is just the right length for the BCM 11.5" upper.

The handguard is the MOE SL, which is great. You do have to remove the sling swivel, though. I just used a punch aided by a hammer.

The can is a Silencer Co. Omega. I got it for the 300 Black Out upper. I went with direct thread on that upper just because I wanted to keep it as short as possible. using the direct thread method, it only adds 5.5". It's a nice, light set up, that Omega may be bigger than a lot of dedicated 5.56 cans, but the weight isn't a factor at all.

Putting that magpul handguard was a pain but so worth it. Had to swap out my triangle cap for a round cap.

I've been thinking about a SL, B5 Bravo or B5 SOPMOD. I'm doing a MK18 Mod 0 inspired build and not sure how close I want it to be.

I converted from longtime SOPMOD user to SL.  While the SOPMOD is great, I like the SL better.

The MOE SL has revolutionized carbines for me.  I freaking love it.  I've not tried them all, but out of what I have tried, they all don't even come close.

Vltor I forget the exact model, the more normal looking one...   -  yuck
CTR stock -  jamming my face down on it to get proper sight picture
CAR stock - too small, bottom digs into my collar bone and just makes it somewhat unpleasant..  But looks the coolest
M4 - The only cheap stock I like but still no where's near the MOE SL

I guess I haven't tried that many.  I'm not remembering any else.....

I'm going to give the SL a go. I've read a few reviews and everyone keeps saying it's the best stock they've ever tried. One guy said he never liked Magpul's stocks and was a die hard SOPMOD stock user, until he tried the SL.
