Ryan, did you get your FDE build done?

I know you had one going on in gray, I thought you were doing an FDE, too

It was finished today, and is being shipped back to me tomorrow. It's a work of art.

I'll have some pics up ASAP.

Id never think you would paint one of your AR's, but that looks nice.

Is it the photo cause it looks more grey.

It's FDE. It was just a quick pic from my smith. The complete rifle and additional upper get to me on Wednesday.

I'll get some pics up then.

The factory dimpled KAC SR-15 E3 Carbine uppers are works of art.

I have two...so I figured it wouldn't hurt to have one cerakoted.

I'm loving Cerakote's advancement on the market.  Used to be a big Moly Resin fan but the convenience, color consistency, and wide spread adoption of Cerakote's changed my vote.

FDE Lower, Burnt Bronze Upper, Geissele "Sand" rail

I recently replaced the magpul buttstock on my 7.3" SBR with the new UCIW mini-stock kit by LWRCi.  Initial impressions are positive; will hopefully test fire this weekend.

The badass patriot-brown cerakote job was recently done by Stephen_101st (Stephen H).  This Noveske Switchblock is my oldest and most favorite SBR that has many trouble-free rounds through it running both suppressed and unsuppressed.

Cheers

I took an entry level rifle class a while ago, and the instructor put them on all of our rifles while we were "away" from them.  We never noticed until he was chuckling every time he watched us shooting.  If you're holding the rifle and turn your head to the right (right handed shooter) it looks like your mustache.  Once we all figured out what was going on, it was a nice way of lightening up the mood on the range.

I chose to leave it.  It gets lots of looks and lots of inquiries into its origins.
