I thought it migh be problem before I bought the CASV, but then I remembered some people mount ACOGs on top of carry handles and are still able to use them. So far I've had no problem with it. It's only a half of an inch higher and it seems like I can aquire a sight picture faster this way |

I think this thread is causing me to look at my rifle differently. Black parts are going to start disappearing and FDE is going to pop up. Hell, I'm thinking about doing a whole FDE rifle.

just finished ceramic coating on both of these rifles. We did it ourselves at work using a siphon fed paint gun and a 100 grit media blaster to pull the annodizing off.
not much to look at, but they are mine and I love them. I really like how the troy rail contrasts against the black barrel, kind of a skorpion or mossberg heatshield look. color is coyote tan mp15 and its little brother-22

Free floated the barrel and Duracoated the tube and SPR grip on my hunting AR (mid-length RRA SS 16" upper on CMMG lower) from page 55..
