The latest look of mine. Added a Magpul FDE trigger guard and painted the buttstock. Think I need to go darker on the buttstock.

The entire ban-era " it's a target rifle, not an evil assault weapon " heavy barrel and bayonet-less FSB needs to go.

Eh, I don't care.

But if you're actually here and just being edgy location-wise, there's a hometown shoot at the end of this month.

The glass is very clear for the money.  I'm not planning on using this with illumination as it won't be the gun I grab for low-light stuff.

I'm going to zero tomorrow while I'm off work.

Huh...your rifle is almost what I've been envisioning on redoing my mid-length to look like. Specs on the whole assembled upper if you do not mind?

Well to start it is a Mega monolithic mid length upper. I don't know how easy it would be to get another one.

Mega billet lower (old non ambi)

BCM Mid length 16" barrel

Arms #41 B-L front sight/gas block (I Know Arms sucks )

KAC 600m Rear sight

Aimpoint Micro H1 W Larue LT751 mount

Regular Bolt carrier I think its made by FNH

Trigger is Geissele SD-3G

LWRC stock

Magpul grip

KAC URX3 side covers

Magpul XTM handstop kit.

Its a mutt.. But this mutt does a good job begging for food...

What paint did you use for the stock?I have a Ruger AR556 with a fixed stock (live in commie mass) that I put a magpul FDE hand guard a d grip on and want to match the stock. Since its a pinned stock I don't want to go through the trouble of replacing the buffer tube so I figured I'd just paint it like you did. I just want to get as close to Magpul FDE as I can.

Correct. It's for the slr sentry 7 I have. When I got mine slr didn't have the drives in stock. And the one they provided wasn't long enough to reach. I was able to source the one pictured right away and for cheap. So the extra length didn't bother me. The nice part is regardless of what rail length/gas block/barrel length I use I should always be able to reach.

It's about 8lbs with a loaded mag. There are lighter rails out there but I love the CASV-EL.

A certain percentage of titanium parts can maybe shave off a half pound, if its worth it to you.
