Ah, gotcha.

Might make a good lower if it's cheap enough for the DIY can cannon I test fired yesterday.

The thing recoils like an M203 or a 12 gauge with magnum rounds. Still a lot less punishing than harleyfx69's brand new Tikka .300 Win Mag

Nope--that's a Larue Predatar. 16" pencil barrel.

Looks Like Marcus holding it though!

80% lower
Anderson stripped upper
Midwest Industries 12" M-lok free float lightweight handguard
Green Mountain 18" SS mid-profile fluted rifle length gas 1:8 .223 wylde barrel
ATI Scorpion X2 grip and Tactlite stock
Radical Arms melonited BCG
Bud Ready linear comp
MAGPUL Gen 3 30rnd pmags

Weight is 6lbs 8oz without optic

Waiting on rings to mount Vortex Diamondback 3-9x40

The 80% lower was a beeyotch on a taper chuck drill press but I did it. Pretty ugly inside but it functions great. Still needs some trigger work to lighten it up. Runs M855 fine, but the ejection pattern was odd. Two distinct piles of brass at 2 and 4 o'clock, plus a few at 3. Love the grip and handguard BTW. Highly recommended. I had a lot of fun with this build.

My girl's new blaster. Got a little SCAR thing going on. It is pretty light even though it has a medium contour 4150 barrel. Probably getting a TA33 ACOG on it soon. Geissele SSA-E, and 13" MK4 rail. It has BAD small parts including 45degree selector, as well as a Norgon ambi mag release, Warsport War Waffle, Battlecomp 1.5, Raptor Ambi charging handle, Magpul Grips and Buttstock. Its getting a Magpul pro Front sight as soon as I find one and it currently has a knights back up rear sight. Barrel in Wylde Chamber 4150 14.7" midlength gas 1/8 twist. It should be a kitten.

Where the RIS II is a F250 work truck.

Both are nice and have their role - but one is for work the other pleasure.

I am not so crazy about FDE in general. I like a really darker color than what FDE is;
as an example, Daniel Defense came out with their 'MilSpec+' color which is basically, brown.

Now, if you ask me, brown and grey are the new black.

Enjoy.

RIS II and RAS or nothing.
I actually think the G rail on fin's sorta CQBR looks awesome. I just can't bring myself to like dickmod/mlok. And rifle weight doesn't bother me as I'm not exactly going on patrols here.

And shit, Ryan told me you moved to WA state, this guy giving me bad info or what?
