Not sure exactly.  It's not boat anchor heavy, nor is it light as a feather.  Right in the middle of the two I would say...

Mega MATEN build with 18" Mega barrel. I coated everything using Norrells Moly Tan

I still need to coat the scope mount and paint the scope after I decide if it's the right scope for the build. It is currently a Super Sniper 1-6X.

Just got it put together yesterday. The form 4 was approved yesterday and picked up the can today. Nice timing.

I'll get a better photo soon.

Colt LE6920
Aimpoint PRO
Primary Arms 3x Magnifier LE Relief (Prim. Arms FTS mount)
Cheapo UTG Bipod (that does a surprisingly decent job)

I purchased my first AR a couple weeks ago, and I'm already thinking about another one. I think I'd like to try and build one, and I absolutely love the flat dark earth color for a rifle. Do the majority of you just find parts that are in the flat dark earth color or do you find a professional place that can change the color of the parts?

Part of that decision depends on how picky you are about all the parts being the exact same color.  I had my upper & lower receivers done in Cerakote (15-22 about 10 posts above this), and then picked out parts from several different companies that I knew were going to be slightly different.  I prefer it that way - sort of a SCAR / intentionally mismatched look.  Just like buying "white" paint - there are lots of choices that are all "like" dark earth.

Nice. Ya, I kind of like the mismatched look. I'd probably even throw a black grip, etc., on it.

Very nice call on that color. Very similar to federal standard 30118 or AI flat dark earth, which I may do my 308 in. Maybe I'll do smith brown now

It was bugging me to have a black upper on my fde lower, so I got a fde upper. Both are Umbrella HUUCR units. Plan is to get a keymod rail ceracoated OD to match the rest of the furniture, I light that weighs less, and likely a 14.5" barrel.

Mega Arms Upper and Lower build
BCM 16" mid length lightweight barrel w/ Phantom 5C2 flash suppressor
Spikes Tactical BCG
Troy Battle rail Alpha 15" FDE
Magpul CTR and MOE grip FDE
And of course, Magpul MBUS FDE
