I liked the way it shot the M855 when I first got it so I stocked up on it, all before the ban mongering, so I got a great deal on it!

Sand base, layer of straw, then brown, black, and a couple spays of "Army green" which doesn't really show up very well. They are the Rustoleum flat camo colors. The MagPul furniture is your standard FDE, not painted.

Will do my wife's gun the same once I get a scope for it. Looking at the Nikon P-223.

One of my current projects. Need to figure out what optic i'll be going for. Daniel Defense upper and lower, Micro MOA 12.5" with govnah, and SLR lite. Does anyone else's camera just go on the fritz when it comes to taking pictures of FDE cerakote?

sorry you're right. I ordered a few weeks back and could have sworn it was called the lite. Still weights almost nothing compared to the DD rail that was there before.

Earlier this month I finally got around to building out one of my lowers with Magpul FDE parts including a MOE grip and ACS-L stock.  The lower is a SAA "blem" (made by Aero) that I've had sitting around for about a year.

The upper is a PSA "Premium" M4-ish upper that has been having to share other lowers as needed.  The upper also got an FDE M-Lok forend to replace the CAR handguards and an M-Lok slant grip.  Not sure how I feel about the slant grip...I thought I would like it up front where it is, but it feels awkward.  We'll see.

It usually wears an Aimpoint PRO, but the little UTG "bug buster" 2-7x scope is handy for more precise work.
