Gen 1 mags have bad reveiws on the mini 14 forums. From what I read a new version or improved version is comming out.

We are looking at ways to resolve the issues with the Gen I mag. I will certainly post up here when there's solid info on a revised version of the mag.

Yes, Gen II mags are almost complete. we are testing now, so if all goes well, we can approve things and start production. so your still looking at 6-8 weeks for new production to be ready to ship. But yes, I believe we have a winner.

It looks like they should be available by the end of the year... not as soon as i had expected from my last post, but we've really taken our time to get this right.
