Stopped in at the local fleet farm tonight. Been looking and researching the mid-length upper for a bit now for a new bulid. Low and Behold it was on sale.....on top of that I received a $50 gift card...something about Big Boy Toy Sale. Had to buy it. Now just have to complete the build.

Question I have is can I use any rails on this upper or do I have to Simons rails.

I paid $579 then I got a $50 gift card for Fleet Farm.

Their tactical elite seems like a good deal with the rails and JP tigger. It was $1480 on sale. If I did not have the parts for a build I would have bought that.

To answer your question, the Samson rails that we carry work great and fit the piston system perfectly. Other rails will work but they have to have clearance under the rail for the piston components as the piston parts are larger then a gas tube. Most manufacturers of rails will say whether or not they are piston combatible. There are a lot of great products out there but I really like the Samson stuff, their new Evo rail is sweet!

I have an 11.5" SBR that we are testing, no production plans yet but Adams has 11.5" uppers ready to rock and roll.
