I joined this forum so that I could add my info here.
Ordered 10 pack of M2 black PMags on 12/20 confirmed 12/21. Received shipping notice on 3/26 and received package on 12/29. Like a lot of folks I ordered without an account and so I was unable to check my order status. I saw that whoever runs Brownell's facebook was referring folks with the same problem to this link. on 3/25 I checked it and my order status had changed to "ORDER ON HOLD" I emailed CS and received a response the next day asking if I still wanted my order. I responded that I did and received my shipping notice that day. I hope this helps. |

got off the phone with Brownell's cancelling some orders I have with them for items.
I have placed two orders of the GI style mags with them back in January. I received one order as of last Friday. Others, who placed their orders for the same items two weeks ago have posted they received the magazines in less than one week from their order. Receiving their mags one week before me. Brownell's customer service stated to me that their supervisors told them the out of order shipments had been taken care of, but customer service stated to me that they have still been receiving complaints from customers that have back orders from several months ago who have not received their shipment but new orders are being fulfilled. Magazines, in a different AR caliber, have been fulfilled for me by two different vendors in less than 3 weeks but Brownells, a larger supplier, can not get the same items to fill orders from 3 months ago at a price much higher. I canceled that order and will be doing less buying through Brownells if I can get the items from dealers like Aim Surplus. |

I don't mind waiting, really I don't care if its July or something, but I cant understand why for about 3 months, I see THIS -
We are making some improvements to your Order History section and your statuses are currently unavailable. Please check back soon. Just tell us whats up. Hire a web guy. Say what you are shipping. People here are doing a better job of tracking orders than they apparently are. Its not like that would require an overhaul of everything. I think they're still completely overwhelmed. By the way, I've been ordering stuff from Midway, and they're shipping in stock items in about two days. |

I have made close to 10 orders from Brownells for in stock items since Christmas and every one of them has shipped within 2 days. Got a bolt carrier the other day that I backordered on the 26th of Dec.. I still have a couple of backorders for magazines from the last week of Dec. pending. Just a guess but I'll bet they had in excess of 250,000 magazines backordered in the last couple of weeks in Dec. It is going to take a while to catch up.

The problem is they are shipping those magazines that people have just ordered and are failing to ship out the same magazines to people who ordered months ago. They said they fixed the issue, but haven't and their customer service reps have admitted that their supervisors tell them the issue was fixed but they get several calls each day from customers complaining orders are not being fulfilled from December/January yet they are fulfilling newly placed orders for the same items. They will never "catch up" with December orders if they just ignore them and fill newly placed orders first. |

I can appreciate the extraordinary situation but Brownells is doing a piss poor job keeping me happy. Not because they have not sihpped my order but because of the the lack of accurate and timely information from them. They should be updating all customers with an order as to status and where in queue they are along wish estimated or expected ship dates. Is that really too much to ask? |

And it slows everything down.
A once a week banner on the website showing current fill dates would be nice. Something like "we are currently filling Pmag orders dated 12/25." |

I ordered mine on 12/21 and still nothing, But what I find really frustrating is I have Have a CMMG 9mm lower that been on backorder since 1/7 with them but saw on another thread where they got them in stock in February. I have a feeling that there whole system is is a big POS and I will be lucky to get my orders before Christmas.

Here's a status for you all (Brownell's just charged my card and emailed me, first update since 12/31). (Been following this thread, very useful, and signed up to update this!)
1. What: 10 packs of black window Pmags (AR-15 30s) 2. When:12/26, didn't convert to non-web order number until 12/31 3. Shipped: Today 4. Delivered: (I expect Monday or so, will update). ETA: Delivered Tuesday, and I actually received not ten packs (do they exist?), but 10 X single mags. These are M2, and info is in the tracker. And BTW, I'm wondering if some of the variable dates are from things like this: individual mags vs. 10 packs vs other variations? Who knows what is coming in when to them from the factory. Based on what some others were saying, I expected mine to ship soon, went online earlier today and saw my order had both a .0 and a .1 piece and was 'in process'. Just got the email on shipment and the credit card update about being charged for it. Order number 083037XX I also called them a few weeks ago to update my expired credit card; good thing i remembered that! -Lee |

Yep ordered the same thing except on 12/21 and confirmed same day and still nother but its ok im not surprised. I really would rather get my 9mm lower instead that I have back ordered with them.

As you see by my post count.I don't post much.The other day I e-mailed Brownells checking on hold-up of mag orders.The next day, I received shipping info on two of my many orders.I have orders from 12/26,1/15 and 1/31.they are sending some of my stuff and cancelling some:
order date 12/26 gen3 non window 30rd pmag ....TWO on the way ordered alot more then 2. 1/15 30rd. ar15/m16 mag,cs.all being shipped.. 30rd,ar15/m16mag w/ss spring non-being shipped 1/31 30rd ar15/16 mag ,cs ; none being shipping 30rd ar15/m16mag w/ss spring;none being shipped went back to my account today and the rest of my orders for 1/15 and ALL of 1/31,, NOW SAYS ORDER CANCELLED OR UNABLE TO FULFILL!! WTF |

I came home to an interesting voicemail message from Brownells' accounting department.
Looks like my windowed PMAGS might be ready to ship from the order screen. God only knows what card I put them on and probably cancelled since then. Guess I've got until the 9th to call them... |

This... the orders are still in the system, it's just that the original order could not be filled from inventory so a new backorder was created for each order. There should be another order under the "cancelled" order with your backordered items listed. |

The Order Cancelled or Unable to Fulfill notations seems to be a glitch as they are doing some more work on their order data base. I had the cust. rep. check on a couple of my orders that said they had been cancelled. When she looked them up they were still valid back orders. She also said she was getting a lot of calls like this. At this point I think that the Cancelled notes are incorrect. |

Just got off the phone with Brownells after seeing my order status go from backordered to cancelled. She said it was a glitch but she was glad I called. My order for 20-30 round Gen2 Pmags, black, no windows, will be shipped within the next 48 hours. Order was placed on 12/21/12 and was 082565xx. Hell yes, about time!!!!! Will keep everyone updated as soon as email arrives or order comes in.

The reason CS was glad you called was because you would never get your order filled until they filled all of the new orders first if you hadn't called.
