This is my first post on the forums but wanted to help everyone out with the tracking orders issue. 2. What date you ordered them: 1/7/13 3. What date you received an email stating that they are shipped: Logged into site on 1/22/13 when I saw my CC was charged, shown as shipped in my account. 4. What date they arrived as an edit to the original post: 1/25/13 Never got an email but the mags arrived just fine. Surprised the crap out of me! I guess that will make 100 years added to my future prison sentence! ETA: Order #08368XXX.XX |

It's irritating. I placed my order 12/17 for the same SKU shown in the order above and nary a word. This was my first order through Brownell's as I am normally a Midway customer. I have no doubt Brownell's will live on as they have many many dedicated customers however I don't plan on ordering from them again. |

My 30rd M3 order placed on 12/18 has finally updated to "Being Picked" status, so I'll probably get a shipping notice today or tomorrow. Today is a good day.

I am giving my order up for dead at this point. I no longer think it's in the system as a back order. I had another item on the order when I placed it that was shipped and received. Her initial response was the boiler plate info that they sent in the email "We are in daily contact with our key suppliers to get as much inventory as they are able to send so we can fill backorders as quickly as possible." I informed her that I had seen on a forum that it appears people who ordered after I did had received their orders for the same product. She said she does not believe that to be the case because they ship first in, first out. Obviously if info that others are posting on the forum is correct they are filling the orders in a different manner. I believe my order will be fulfilled but who knows how long and in what order. All I can do is sit and be patient. |

I think that is what's happened. Brownells put the " order processed-no items shipped" on back orders to get them out of the system or set them aside somehow so they could process orders for in stock items. I believe this because a co-worker who I showed that brownells was taking back orders,ordered a 10 pack of gen 2 non-window on 1-7-2013. He got tracking info today. I ordered the exact same thing on dec 24th and I have nothing. At first I thought people who said they received mags ordered in January were just stirring the pot. Now I believe them. I've seen it with my own eyes. Luckily I gave up on brownells when I saw local stores getting pmag shipments. I cancelled with brownells and ordered from dsg. Somebody really screwed up at brownells. I don't think it was intentional at all but definitely cost them more than a few customers. Not the end of the world. It's just gun mags. But for all those defending them I'm sure they are a great company. I've heard nothing but good things about them but a mistake was definitely made.

I will also add that I placed two seperate orders for 2 pmags each with midway. When they found that exceeded their imposed limit they canceled one order. That order shows processed( meaning cancelled) the other one still shows backordered. I would assume the software used by both companies is similar. So brownells put all the mag orders down as processed-no items shipped. That took them out of the que. what I can't figure out is when they had what they termed "overwhelming" orders in dec and then they are shipping orders made in jan where the fuck did all the orders go????? They knew they didn't fill them. Due to the "overwhelming" number of orders I doubt they can go back and find them all. My advice is if you have "order processed-no items shipped" you should probably write it off. As u can no longer order pmags from brownells all u can do is order from dsg or someone who IS taking orders for pmags. You'll probably get them inside of 2 weeks. If you look at the dsg tracking chart on the dsg board it looks like they are only 6-10 days behind.

I am starting to think that I am the only person here with an order for Browells steel 30 round magazines.
Here I was thinking that PMags would be a longer wait than metal ones..... Order in 12/26. Nothing. |

I called today and spoke with someone at the order desk. They said that there has been a glitch in their software and orders placed later have been shipping ahead of others. The person on the phone apologized. That summed up the conversation because I was speechless after that.

Hey fuck you asshole! I called brownells to see wtf is going on. I told the lady other people have been receiving orders placed after mine for the exact same thing. She said a lot of people have called about the same thing and that they were trying to figure out what is going on. She confirmed that my order wasn't canceled and that it still shows the mags on backorder. She took my phone number and said they will be giving me a call. |

He was nice and friendly, and confirmed with me the things I had on backorder... He did say that the website isn't showing the accurate status for everyone. I'm glad I called and confirmed. 12/20 crew here. Nothing yet. |

Ordered on 12/18. I already have mags on the way from DSG, but now it's just the principal of it. When I first ordered, they were "in stock", then backordered and now those orders aren't even being filled in proper order. Just annoying really. |

Witnessed with my own eyes today. I order a 10 pack of Pmags on 12/19 (order # 08233xxx) and received confirmation. Called in to confirm order and was told I am on the list.
On Jan 2, my friend at work, on my recommendation, ordered a 10 pack of the same Pmags. His shipped today and I saw the tracking email. WTF Called Brownells, they confirmed my order was in the system and they are shipping out on a "as ordered" basis. I told them about my friend and they said. "A few have slipped though like that but are being addressed" |

ETA: If Brownells would actually look at their own forum they would know what was going. They could get names and order numbers ASAP if they wanted to. |

Finally, the first bit of good news on my orders. My account info at Brownells for the very first time changed today from 'Recent Orders -- Not in Stock' to 'Pending Orders'. Took more than 1 month. Maybe the comments about shipping out of order on this thread are making a difference.
- Order 1: 12/20 for 10 PMAG's Windowed M2 - Order 1: 12/21 for 8 PMAG's Windowed M3 Hope I don't have to wait another month to get a shipping notice. This shit in DC is getting crazy. ETA: Interestingly, they changed my order numbers, as if they were 'lost in the system' previously ... |

ETA - Hold the phone tighter... All of my backorders (even ones that have shipped) are showing pending.... Not that I am complaining... Yeah, send me more USGI mags!! |

Well crap. I have 12 orders and only 4 of them are pending. But with more thought, item usually go to pending before being confirmed. What the heck is going on?

I also now have two orders in my "pending orders" queue... The problem is, one of them has nothing to do with PMags; it's the order for a Troy rail that I already received a month ago. Meanwhile, my November 1st PMag order is still listed as "Not in stock at this time".

I emailed them today asking why orders that were placed in January, my order is from Dec 18th, were shipping already when a lot of people from December didn't seem to be getting their orders filled. Here is the response I got:
Without knowing the details of the other orders shipped out, we are getting pmags in stock, but keep in mind with 1000's of back orders, and very few coming in under the different kinds, we are working as quickly as we can to fill orders. We are watching the comments posted also. |

My back orders show pending now too, but when I go to my order tab, and hit display orders, no statuses there have changed. I'm hoping these orders going to pending means they are trying to do something about the order shipping issue.
I know most of you don't care abotu the USGI mags (cs springs), but I have orders from 12/21 (54661353) and 12/26 (54683055) that are not filled, but brownells is still taking backorders. I would think if they were a month behind they would at least cut off the ability to backorder these. I've read in other another thread of these mags shipping from dates after my first order. Myabe if I backorder some now I will get them before my December orders |

Brownells had best square their ass away and start shiting out our pmags!
I'll say this again. I wasn't the least bit upset about having to wait for my mags, that was until me and a bunch of the other Dec crew got passed the fuck over. Same thing has been going on in the Mako E-lander thread too. |
