Maybe a 20 incher....Maybe a 300 BLK. http://img690.imageshack.us/img690/1516/photo72r.jpg love it.. looks great. The FDE is one of my favorite looks.. I especially like the condor case.. I wish PSA would make some of their cases in ODG and Coyote Tan. That would mean I'd have to buy many more. :)The Glock 22 matches it beautifully. seriously though.. beautiful rig man. |

Midwest Industries handguard. That lower was purchased with the lpk installed by Core15. I did go to their site and check and that is how its installed. Dyed the MBUS last night. Sling and light soon. Right at 7 lbs now with an empty mag. Very much a happy camper about this rifle. Started this build December 21, it was a bit of a scramble. Had a PSA FA BCG as a spare though. That helped a lot. |

First build for me. Really happy with PSA. This thing rocks and rolls at the range and I built it on a budget.
PSA - Heavy Barrel Mid length upper PSA - Lower receiver PSA - MOE Gen 2 lower parts kit Joe Bob Outfitters - MPI BCG Magpul - Mil Spec ACS Magpul - Anglegrip YHM - Customizable Firefield 1-4 (works for now) oh and some 45 degree sights (a lot cooler than I thought they'd be) http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h295/colsanders718/grrrns/20130114_181248_zps1dc82783.jpg http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h295/colsanders718/grrrns/20130112_224153_zpsb539ca33.jpg http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h295/colsanders718/grrrns/20130112_224145_zpsdb8ade9f.jpg |

Kinda reminds me of multicam look almost.. i like it. What optic is that? Ha! You're in SC right? Get a can! Yeah I was going for multicam-ish. Stencils were home made (cut shapes into file folders) by me so I didn't get the pattern perfect. Optic is Aimpoint C3 2moa in LaRue LT129 mount. I have a Aimpoint 3x behind it now so I really like the smaller dot. Turning PSAs FSB into a low pro gas block. This was done to fit a DD MFR handguard Finished product after the butchery shown above: KISS LW PSA upper on PSA lower Random pics of PSA lower, this is where the SBR started... |

That grip is so much better than those stupid ass grips people use, i am lost for words on the name, but my brother is in special forces and he said they never use that junk. The magpul version is top notch. |

It's an AFG (Angled Fore Grip)... I have the same one... I went from a MOE MVG (MOE Vert Grip) and really like the AFG better. I would really love to post a pic of my PSA build, but for the life of me have know idea how to post a photo.
|
|
|
yea most of my builds use mvgs or rvg's and i love them. I may buy one of those AFG's just to try it out.
to post a picture, at the botom of the post box click the black box witht he grey imge of a mountain with a sun over it, then enter the web address to the photo. Most use services like photobucket to host their pictures. Hope that helps. |

We'll see if this works. Sorry for the crappy photos, but they are all I had uploaded.. I will try to get better ones on here not take with a cell phone! It's a PSA stripped lower with a FDE MOE PSA LBK, KNS FDE anti rotation hammer/trigger pins, and upgraded the trigger to a RRA 2 stage, and a GG&G single point sling attachment. The upper is a complete (back when you could still buy the charging handle and BCG with the uppers) 14.5" middy with pin and welded YHM 5M2 compensator, I also added a KNS crosshair front site and a flip up magpul FDE rear site, magpul AFG in FDE. I had the lower custom etched on the right hand side of the magwell. I also have a few mags, as I have a few other AR's that use them.. The flashlight is a Surfire U2 Ultra LED on an offset mount. It looks like Magpul threw up on this thing in FDE. I took the original non-windowed PMag I got from PSA and tried my hand at dying it the other night. It didn't come out exactly as I planned, but I still like it. I also Have a Pelican 1720 that fits everything on the table plus some other items. I'm sure I'm forgetting something.. but here you go.

Some nice builds in here. How are ya'll liking those Vortex?
|

MacA2448, Have 2 similar builds to yours, they are the "PSA Hammer-Forged Mid-length SQR Premium 16'' Stripped Railed Upper", love the guns except the free float rails on both seems to be mounted a tad higher than the receiver on both uppers, then on the first one I opened there is a gap between the top of the rail and top of the receiver of about thickness of a piece of paper, but the other I can fit a business card or 2 between the gap. Not sure if its normal or not, yours doesn't seem to have this issue, at least from the pictures seems the top of your free float rail is even with your receiver....
Here is the pic from their site, mine look similar where the rail starts its mounted a little higher, would this be from something not being square? http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/catalog/product/gallery/id/11916/image/10405/ Here is a few pictures of mine, its almost like it just needs to go down and back some, like the machined surfaces aren't flat, not sure if the receiver or the rail doing this http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u612/Mustang198650/eeadee2b-51f7-48b5-aa34-a63be2442719_zps5a54ddc1.jpg http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u612/Mustang198650/PSA_SQR_zps21ab35e5.jpg |

I build AR's a lot and that is what I use to align all of mine, and you can see from that picture it is dead on. You might be able to correct it yourself if you don't want to go through PSA. |
|
|
If you want a picture of what I am talking about I can snap one for you real quick to show you how I do it with an RSA adapter from magpul, it has never failed me.
