still holds up rather well. Mine is my everyday man purse and my pistol range bag. I don't take very good car of my stuff, its been to China, used to hold all kinds of shit (ranging from 3 pistols and several hundred rounds of ammo to a six pack and a 750 of whiskey) and I've never had any type of problem. not a stich messed up, nothing.

"Made in America" prices are a joke. Most of the cost is because unions jacking up the labor costs.

Exactly. I figure that when I buy made in Taiwan stuff, money goes to an anti-communist country.

EMDOM does the same as well. Designed in the US and made in taiwan. Good gear though. Mine has been bulletproof

and made in taiwan is not made in china. quality is much better.

I concur. I'd much rather my money go to the ROC than the PRC.

I remember back in the '80's people were worried about how the US was going to become a purely 'consumer and service economy'. I always wondered how consumers and services would survive without, ya know...domestic made products to give the consumers jobs to earn money to buy the services with. I mean...I learned that shit in SimCity and high school economics.

Well...we're just about there....

(Love my Fatboy though! Have a wallet on the way, too.)

I don't give a damn where the shits made, as long as it's QUALITY, and Maxpedition gear is. JMHO..

BHI is made in Vietnam, Eagle LE is made in the Dominican Republic; this isn't new, and what's key is how quality control is implemented and maintained.

Yippee, I went out yesterday and bought myself another pair of Minnetonka Moccasins [moosehide], they have always been made in the US in the past, this pair, made in the Dom Repub. Sad when even the Indians offshore. Will be the last time I buy them even though I do love wearing them. And no, the price didn't drop one dime even though the cost of making them probably is 1/4 as much as it used to be.

You are wrong

Eagle is made in St Louis MO and Puerto Rico (US Territory).

I spoke with John Carver about this in regards to he had to find more sewers...and had to be able to compete with BlackHawk and their made in Viet Nam crap. Eagle is USA made.

John is a class act. Same cannot be said about Blackhawk or those moving production to China such as Maxpedition
