They can make that right after they make a dedicated .22LR upper.
We have a left and right hand .308 in the works. We do not have a release date for it at this time.

I just went to lunch with a buddy TODAY and we stopped by a funshop with an AR10 on the used rack. After handling it and stating that I kinda missed owning a .308 AR, I added that if Stag ever made a left handed one, I would ABSOLUTELY buy one.
And DITTO on the Magpul mags!

What pattern DPMS or AR10? I am hoping for the latter.
All the details will be released at the same time we announce that the rifle will be available.

I just happened onto this post.
I have 3 Stags right now, all in Lefty.
I am getting ready to purchase a Kel-Tec RFB soon. BUT, If Stag is coming out with a lefty .308 I will get that instead for sure.
I know you can't really give out details but would you think this may be coming out in the 2012 calendar year?
Just don't want to put down 1600 for a RFB and 6 months later Stag comes out with this one.
Hopefully it will be a side charger!

Have to respectfully disagree with that sentiment. Just a plain jane AR format in 7.62 NATO/.308 but otherwise like Stag's other offerings is perfect so that way the manual of arms is familar; left or right hand, with an industry standard mid-length handguard/gas system if you also do a carbine.
Agree, standard ol' Ar-10 clone is fine. 18" or maybe a 20" bbl. Magpul ACS buttstock and the Samson rail Stag uses. Flip sights like on the 8 and 8L
Stags are awesome!! If this is out buy summer 2012 I will by one in right hand config!! Seriously!!!
I had decided NOT to build a .308 AR because Stag didn't make one, all I can say is; can't wait!

Not that this is really anything new, but I just received this from Stag this morning:
"We have a .308 AR-10 in the works but R&D is being very tight lipped about it except that it will be available in left and right hand. There will be a large advertising blitz on the .308 AR-10 when they will be offered for sale. If you have any further questions please contact us again."
