Well after 3 weeks of shooting her mom's bow my GF decided to get into the sport and buy a bow yesterday!
She didnt know much about what was available so I did some research and she settled on a Bowtech Heartbreaker last night. She liked the feel, pull, and shot it great at the bow shop and decided that was the bow for her.
Now that it's a done deal .. thoughts about the Heartbreaker? I've only seen good things about the bow.
She is going to be practicing hard this week with the hopes of shooting a deer this weekend.
I had her get 100 gr HellRazor broadheads and gold tip expedition arrows to start with. Did I lead her astray?
rule 1: need pic of GF then we can tell you if you led her astray

Nope .. enough leg-humping .. looking for opinions good or bad about the bow.

That sounds like you did everything perfect.
Researched, tried out, she's happy. Meets all the qualifications for a good combination.
Aside from that, I'd be surprised if the Bowtech disappointed you in any way. Sure, it's not a 350 FPS speed bow, but a bow like that would have been a poor choice. Personally, I think you did well.
I just bought the woman a Horton Vision and she loves it.....
To all you crossbow nay-sayers out there.....I would have put her in a Mathews but unfortunately due to shoulder injury she is unable to draw a regular bow
Sweet. She looks like a natural. I don't know crap about bows. I have an old Jennings that I can make hits with, so that is good enough for me. I just wanted to see pics of your girl.

I see NAP has really expanded their broadhead offerings. How have the Hellrazor heads worked on game for you?
You did great dude. She's happy, she's shooting archery, you're happy... she got a great bow. May your arrows fly straight and true. :)

I arrowed a deer almost 2 weeks ago and the HellRazor did its job perfectly. Clean pass through, massive internal hemhoraging, and DRT within 5 yards.
