Now that I am in the BRM3G I'm thinking I should be ready to sling my rifle and scattergun.
Is a 2 point setup the way to go? I'm thinking the VTAC Quick Adjust slings....but let's hear what works for you.
We are starting with this:
Shotgun is a Benelli M2 (with a sling stud on the Nordic Clamp). Do I want to use the rear factory sling attachment on the but stock?..... (but I'd really like an excuse to install the Noveske Flush QD sling mounts front and rear

...)
Rifle is a Stag 3G upper (Samson Evolution forearm) and A2 butt stock with its standard Mil-Spec rear sling loop.
When the long gun is slung, where are you wearing it? Knowing front or back helps with the choice. I will wear rifle and shotgun in front (not slung over my back) so I want the butt stock attach on the top, such as a
VTAC butt stock adapter provides. In front allows better muzzle control for me. But BRM3G may have a different environment.
The VTAC adapter works fine over an A2 stock; not sure about a Benelli, but it does work on both a Mossberg 590 and Remington 1100.

This setup work good for me. I have a sling stud in my Nordic Components clamp. QD attachment on my Stag 3G. This reminds me I need to order a set or five of those Noveske QD deals.
