This is a young man Ryan Fournier that was a friend of my nephew & he served this country like many of you & he passed away in his home just before the 4th of July.
If it is okay I just want to pay tribute to him here.
He suffered multiple injuries on multiple tours.
Here is the link to his story.

He left his wife, daughter & autistic son behind for now.
I want to thank the Wounded Warriors for helping his family with the funeral costs & comfort.
I have the utmost respect for ALL of our young, old, black, white, red, men & women whom have served this country!
I know firsthand the sacrifices you & your families suffer. My father served back in the 60's & early 70's until the fall of Saigon in 75.
I missed the draft by just 1 year.
He came home alive ,but really didn't come home & we lost him to mental, substance abuse & injury issues.
The last time I saw him was after his 3rd tour in 73.He didn't come back to us,but came back to America.
You all deserve medals for your service, valor & sacrifice you have endured.
My neighbor is the head of nursing a Veteran's Hospital & am appalled at some of the stories she tells me about how hard they make it to get help or no help at all!
They have stared a GoFund me to help out the near homeless family now that his benefits have basically stopped.
