I came here about a year ago looking for help for my brother.
http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_1_5/1519058_.html&page=1

He was doing a little better but it was like Dr jekel and Mr hide. He volintarily went to rehab and was talking with a psychologist. Making plans for the future etc.yesterday he slipped back and passed.

His mind was a torture chamber so in a way I'm relieved that he is free now.

He was proud of his military service so I'd like to have a military funeral. He had also asked to be cremated and I read those two kind of conflict with each other.

Can someone point in the right direction or guide me a bit.

Thank you.

Eta this is in the LA/oc area of california

Find the nearest military base and get ahold of their honor guard.

Contact the funeral director and have a DD214 or other proof of honorable service rendered.

If your funeral director is an idiot, go here.

Cremated remains are provided the same honors as non-cremated remains.
