I'm sure the new ones will be worse.
Wearout date will probably be 2020. As for the camo pattern, in garrison, who cares? |

I'm gonna be a hold out and wear ACUs as long as possible. I'm even going to start actively preaching the many unsung virtues of ACUs. Oh yeah... can't wait.

Any pictures? When I did a google search it looked like you guys were going to be wearing basically what the navy is wearing for their greens.

Another pattern to go into the closet and take up space. I still have BDU's that are starched and ready for wear.

You're going to want to look at your Clothing Record and notice that ACU's are now "N" under ETS. You're going to have to turn them in. I'm currently fighting with my supply over ACU's I was issued 6 fucking years ago.
Burn nothing! Make CIF take them or remove them from your record. |

It's the clothing record I printed off AKO this morning.
I'm also fighting about my Multicam's from A-stan..... check into ALARACT 192/2012. It authorizes anyone in country 30+ days to have the uniforms removed from the record at no charge/ no FLIPL. Add up the prices.....it's not worth the middle finger to the Army when it costs you hundreds of dollars. |
