Every time there's an engine switch we hear complaints. I think these sound very throaty, and at the start they will sound like a pack of tigers. Also, all of the turbo sound is cool to hear. |

I hope we have another 2012 season with a bunch of different winners. Of the "dong" cars, I think the McLaren takes the cake. The Toro Rosso is the most dong-like. Non-dong, Red Bull. So...if you hated the last few years of strategic, non flat out racing.....you are really going to hate the new formula.
Sebastian Vettel: If you drive like last year you won’t see the chequered flag. That much is fact. Racing will change. Full throttle looks like a thing of the past. We shall see, but I kind of welcome the resource use vs speed equation. It's a whole new form of very complicated racing. Chess instead of checkers. |

At this point they are patting themselves on the back if they can successfully stay out on track for more than a few laps. Very early days and they haven't even begun to lean on the cars yet. |
