Congrats to Red Bull !
Awesome race. I suggest Kimi a retirement. Alonso did what he could with that POS car. Really ashamed by Ferrari performance today. Not a step forward but backward. Lame |

WOW... helluva race!!! Awesome to see a non-Merc win it.
WTF was Massa doing there? Full speed hit. |

Ricciardo really is Italian :P
Damn: that was the first race that I didn't want to sleep over ! What a great race like always in Canada ! |
|
hmm, merc brakes are too small for the really fast tracks.. interesting

the number 3 goes to victory lane at Canada and the 88 at Pocono. Not a bad day

Awesome day for RIC! Seems like a good guy and a tenacious driver.
I thought it was Massa's fault at first, but a quick overhead shot they showed, it looked like Perez juked left right before the hit. Though it looked like Massa was going too fast to make the corner. Had to tell though... It was nice to see VET show what appeared to be genuine respect and happiness for his teammate. Eta: I think ROS should have had to relinquish the position after cutting the chcane early on. Eta2: I was really disappointed with MAS in the last 8 laps. He was screaming fast catching them, then just seemed to make no real effort at passing the 4 cars in front of him. If ALO was in the same position, he would have at least picked off a couple of them. |
|
Need to give a huge congratulations to my boy JB grabbing 4th place in the end!

Exciting race on a beautiful course.
When the two Mercedes cars started having the same problem at the same I thought it might be a software problem in the energy management system. Them my inner tinfoil-hat voice asked, "Real-time hacker?" The electronics telemeters data, but can it receive commands? Looking forward to Austria on the 22nd. |

Wow, can you imagine if Massa would have hit Vettel on the side like that... Vettel might be dead. Seriously.
That was an awesome race. That's like the first time there's been a real race for the win since like mid-last season. Ferrari is embarrassing themselves. Had Ham not retired, and had that wreck not occurred on the last lap, Alo would have been 10th and Rai out all together. Congrats to Ric. I don't like RBR, but I do like Ric. Seems like a good dude. He deserved that win. |

I'd say Perez fault too. He steered right when entering the braking zone View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

yeah, my fantasy picks got shot all to hell...but I did pick Nico to finish 2nd, the only one in the top ten I got right.

Up until this point, you were an idiot if you didn't put anything but Mercedes 1 and 2. Honestly the rest of the season will more than likely still be a merc run away. Just so happened that both Mercedes lost ERS, which in itself is very odd, combined with them having the smallest rear brakes, and of course no ERS, which means no drag on rear axles to help braking, at one of the highest braking tracks, which means overheated rear brakes, and thus why Lewis went out, the team quickly had Nico adjust braking to front, and that is how he managed to make it to the end all be it slower. Mercedes will most definitely fix this problem, which will put us right back to square 1, but at least we do know they have a weakness...... |

I keep thinking that Hamilton has the edge on Nico, but I want Nico to beat him. Hammy is such a paranoid, whiney bitch. Sad show of poor Ferrari form, too. I had high hopes for Kimi this year.

The radio call from Rosberg to the pit wall about brake bias was interesting. Especially when there was so much difference between their settings. It will be interesting to hear what the reason is but in the ERS certainly seems reasonable. Looks like Nico is taking a page Hamilton's play book and holding the line and not leaving any room for his team mate ala Bahrain. Good race, too bad that Massa and Perez came together like that. Vettel was extremely lucky. Nice to see him so happy for Daniel. |

I hope (for both of their sake) they aren't able to call up that type of info in normal situations. - Hey guys, he out braked me and made me lock up on the previous lap.....what brake bias is he running. - Ok...thanks. I'll make the change and eliminate his advantage. |

Perez was struggling with dodgy brakes and still in with a shot at a podium. I think he juked just to give himself room. Massa is still trying to blame Perez though. Massa slams 'dangerous' Perez |

Now I wonder what he saw on the steering wheel display or felt about the car. Was he already feeling the ERS give it up? ETA: Maybe that's why the team was so quick to give him the info. Maybe they had seen it in the telemetry already. Do they have a WTF hand signal they can pass back and forth from the pit wall and car? |

Figures, didn't get to watch the damn race live because my computer PSU shit itself.
I'm glad that Ricciardo won though, I really like the kid. Seb was actually a decent human being too during the post race. |
