Other than mechanical issues this has been a pretty tame race. Only half way...still time for some excitement. Perez and the Safety Car are going to have me eat my words. |

Who thinks Alonso can being those tires to the end for a 2nd place ?
Shit,
Now the redbulls want to go to the end too. But their tires are much older than Alonso's |

If it's hard to go to the end for Alonso with his tires, it will be MUCH harder for Vettel Same for ricciardo View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Well
I think the safety car definetely screwed Alonso's race. |
Lewis is streaking away and nearly has enough gap to pit for new tyres, as he's reporting his going off now
Vettel has fucked up everyone else's race and allowed Hamilton to get his gap.
I was hoping Vettel and Ham would crash, giving Ricciardo the win
Red bull played it smart.
Ricciardo is sheltered by vettel's DRS |
Damnit.
The safety car really clawed the podium outs of Alonso's hands. |
Ricciardo isn't trying to attack Vettel,
The red bulls are simply ensuring both podiums places. Stupid tv speaker |

Yet another great run for Hamilton. He has made some really great drives this year. He deserves this championship for sure.
Good showing from RBR. It was good to see Vettel perform well today. |

It was good to see Vettel perform well today. Yep, if he wins he will have earned this one. Although the ball gargling by the commentators is really beyond old. Sort of amazing how everyone is starting to catch up to Merc. The double points in the last race is becoming more and more important looks like. Singapore is always kind of an aberration but everyone seems to be rapidly improving. These last few races are going to be very wild. |

My drive of the race goes to Jean-Eric Vergne.
Pretty strong medicine at the end. |

I`m wondering how long before they get tired of these "POWER UNITS" and go back to a real engine. They made Formula E and that`s where they belong. I also don`t understand why only the trailing cars cars can open the DRS when within the 1 second space, but the car they are trying to pass can`t open theirs

If it were active on the slower car it would defeat the purpose. |

Because Ric was close to Vettel he was able to deploy DRS but he was really using it defensively to hold off Alonso. Totally within the rules and just shows how Ferrari blew their strategy call. |

I was looking for the race yesterday but apparently it is on tonight.
Got the DVR set to see what you guys are talking about |

I called it during the race, Ferrari didn't blew it this time, but got screwed by the safety car. Alonso had done the undercut on Vettel and was going to end 2nd without the safety car. |

I'm not a big Hamilton fan, but that was a hell of a drive, and absolutely dead-perfect pit strategy by Mercedes after the extended safety car.
Hamilton built up just the gap he needed, and went into to change tires on the exact lap his worn super softs were costing him time. And then blew Seb's doors off when he came came back out. |
