The judge had loads of reasons to toss the case, but didn't. The Jury was abysmal. They were only out for an hour and some to come to a decision.
I'm betting they were lazy and wanting to get done before Christmas. It's being appealed. Faith in real justice in this "judicial" system has evaporated. |

They actually do this with cars now. Perfectly legal too, well, at least the titles are transferred by the DOT. Mind you, they end with the same model car but just a section with the vin welded in. You can buy complete bodies and frames for classic Camaros and other cars made from the original tooling in China. I've seen it on those custom car shows. I don't see anything stopping them from changing models during the process.
