The battle-scarred jaguar is well-known to biologists, who have nicknamed him 'Mick Jaguar'. He is estimated to be seven years old and is almost blind in his right eye, probably due to battles defending his territory. Mr Black, from Washington DC, U.S, was on a boat with fellow photographer Jeff Foott when they spotted 'Mick' stalking Yacare caiman.
