I think the poster was referring to the mis-spelling of the word edition that no-one has commented on in 270 pages.

Okay here's a funny story. My dad had a couple of Civil War-era swords that weren't anything special... back when he got them they were plentiful. HIS FIL had ground the blades down so they weren't so heavy.
One sword had a sheath and was in poor condition, i.e. the grip was loose, falling apart, etc. The other sword was in good shape. As kids my brother and I gave each other a few welts with them just playing around. My youngest nephew (18 or so at the time) was down helping clean Dad's house out after he died and we unearthed these swords. I had the good one and I took up an attack stance with my sword. Nephew had the bad sword with the scabbard. He grabbed the handle and drew the sword... and the handle came off! He looked at the handle kind of stupidly for a second till he realized what had happened. Then we both laughed our asses off. It was like some movie comedy or something. |
