Thats all I got out of 2 semesters of business calculus. Time well spent.  |

PS, Friday my AP calc class and I were going over derivatives of exponential functions of bases other than e and I kept reminding them to "drop the log" for the modifier from base e. I said it over and over each time we did a problem and it was really awkward for them until I insisted that it must be a natural log, and to do otherwise would produce pain and suffering. We all busted out laughing. The literal kid said "did you mean to say that the whole time?", to which I answered "What are you talking about"  , and went back to a serious lesson. |
