Most economically viable gas wells are an order of magnitude deeper. Natural gas occurs naturally. Drilling for water is still drilling and you can tap in to natural gas deposits just as easily. If the gas was available at water drilling depths, there wouldn't be need for advanced drilling techniques in most cases. |
