What does she think the turkey is going to do? Tear her face off? Many times, during "dating season," many animals have problems with species identification. I'm wondering if people living around there have been feeding the turkey. Maybe he just wanted her to give him some food? No, he was being aggressive. When they partially extend a wing down and kind of shoulder it towards you and rake it with their legs, they're trying to intimidate you. The woman was smart to fear an aggressive male turkey, because in addition to their beaks, which are surprisingly powerful and sharp, they have spurs: http://www.jerrystaxidermy.com/Assets/Images/gallery_upland/thumbnails/2412%20turkey%20spur_tn.jpg Which are jabbed into opponents violently, and painfully. They won't kill you, but they can make you bleed pretty easily. If she knew what she was doing she could get a good kick in and launch him away, which, if done enough will dissuade him from trying to attack you while not injuring him. But, of course, she's a woman who has no experience with that, so her best bet is to do what she did, and flee to cover. Clever girl. |

Damn what I wouldn't give for a free, reactive, delicious target like that. It's a friggin obese bird that labors to fly! You just won the free poultry lottery and you chose to run away and post it on youtube? If there was ever a more suiting "Head on over to the kitchen and make me a sammich" moment, I have yet to see it. Definitely not an arfcom girl. |

I dont get it. The value of Pi (3.14) does not bring a bill of $26.86 to an even $30. ETA: Never mind.....duh! I was doing percentages, not simple addition. |

Had a company party with 12 kegs of beer floated in 2 hours and many had camel backs filled. |
