Just because they were popular with toolbags doesn't mean they aren't pretty amazing machines. My evo was incredible. I have driven a lot of street and track cars and there aren't many that were bang-for-buck better than my evo was. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

WRX's, Lancers's and many other AWD cars plow like a tractor in high speed corners... They cover up a lot of terrible driving techniques with tight corner exit grip though. EVERY frat fag had an EVO or STI when I was in school. Or a brodozer. Just because they were popular with toolbags doesn't mean they aren't pretty amazing machines. My evo was incredible. I have driven a lot of street and track cars and there aren't many that were bang-for-buck better than my evo was. Oh no question, as long as you understand their strengths and their weaknesses. Everyone I've known with an Evo was king of the boy racers. On separate occasions, two Evos have been wrapped around the same tree in the same turn about a month apart near our FSAE shop. It was a fast sweeper. One fun thing is eating up AWD cars in my 350Z on fast corners and cloverleafs They would destroy me in an autocross, i'm sure. |

I like my new charger patrol car, but I always said that an Evo would be really fun in pursuits. Especially in an urban environment or in the mountains where there arent many straights. |
