You may not attack each other. As of this weekend the word came down from on high that the personal insults and CoC violations WILL stop... not just here and GD, but across the board in general.

You are not to sling insults at each other or toward a group of people.

You may attack a candidate and pretty much say what you want so long as it is within the CoC.

You may attack a policy or platform as long as it is within the CoC.

You may say that somebody's IDEA is foolish, but you many not call that poster a fool.

You may say that somebody doesn't understand something, but you may not call them a fucking idiot.

You are all smart enough to know what IS and IS NOT allowed around here. Some of you try to get cute, that shit is over as well. For the past couple of weeks I have sprinkled threads with warnings to this effect and it has gone unheeded, well heed it now or be prepared to take a one week vacation from ARFCOM.

This applies to regular members, team members, old timers, new arrivals, Ron Paul supporters, McCain supporters, Romney supporters, Hillary and Obama supporters in case Ann Coulter happens to be here (sorry the post did need SOME levity).

Tonight I will be doing a thorough review of recent contentious threads and editing like mad (or if there are too many problems, outright trashing) to remove personal attacks. I don't relish this, but you've forced my hand and ignored my requests.

Anybody taking issue with this is free to appeal my decision to thebeekeeper1, striker, thebeerslayer or EdSr.
