How do you go into turns with that rear tire being so flat and large ?
Not my style, but it's a cool looking bike, the frame looks like it was a lot of work.
The bike will fight you around a corner if you try and ride it like you would a skinny tire bike or crotch rocket. I adjust the way I ride around corners by sliding my weight opposite side of the corner to balance out a heavy lean. If corners are your thing I would stay away from a fat tire bike. But with a 117 cu in S&S the bike needs every bit of that back tire. It hooks up and launches so hard it makes me laugh every time, almost like one of those launch rides at an amusement park.
There are many crotch rockets and exotic cars around me that can attest to that.
You ever take it to a drag strip?
No I haven't, not yet anyway.

You bought a membership, you know where the BOTD section is...
Yeah I know, if there was a severed head sitting on the seat, we'd be just fine, but I don't make the rules...

nope, sure didn't know there were rules against this stuff. will remove. Apologies and thanks for the headsup.

No problem, post all you want in the Babe Of The Day section in General. It's only really a bummer for the freeloaders who can't see those sections...
i paid for membership, but not sure how the access works? suppose there's an intro explanation somewhere. admittedly so far i've just looked primarily at the ar and handgun stuff, only this morning even found these spots.

Click "General" up top, then scroll down to Babe Of The Day, then start a bike-chick thread in there

Sold the Road King and got this one Tuesday...
2002 ST4S...custom painted pearl white with red frame/wheels to mimic the newer Ducs.

still the 90 deg twins in those too?

Yep, although this one is water-cooled, and being the ST4 has 4 valve heads...the "s" model adds the 996 engine (over the standard 916), Marchesini wheels, Ohlins suspension, and other goodies.
This is my first Ducati, so its gonna be a steep learning curve for me on the ins and outs as far as maintenance, etc.
Now that is more of my style. Congrats.

gotcha. duc's make a cool looking machine for sure. test drove the 1098 a few years ago right before heart surgery. might have been partially because of the downward sloping seat, but i just felt too big for the bike, so instead added a bmws1000rr to the stable with the aprilia and harley. Maintenance on those scared me a little too. from what i'm told, get ready to buy a lot of specialty tools.
Nice bike MMissle!

My new to me 97 Nighthawk 750. Incredibly fun to ride

Nighthawks are AWESOME! I wish I still had my '82 650.

I forgot to put this in this thread.
2001 Sprint ST, just got it. 13,000 miles. I'm very happy.
