My baby... rode this after a 92 katana 750....MUCH better!
I"m liking the 2010 ER-6n

Very nice!
It would be even nicer in a liter size me thinks.

Looked at one over the weekend. Fit like a glove. What a hooligan bike.
Going from an old katana to a later R1 is an epic leap in biking tech and power!
I finally got them all in 1 shot:
Started with this... 1982 Honda CM250 Custom
Got it for free, got it running and rode it for 2 seasons. Put about 3k miles on.
And now I have this...
'07 R6s
I've had it for about a month now. Have put on roughly 600 miles. Boy what a difference! Just starting to get comfortable on it. Still get nervous sometimes when I hop on, but it goes away rather quickly.
Picked up a Ninja 650 a couple of weeks ago. Pulled the "Ninja" stickers off and fitted her out with a R&G Tail Tidy.

Have the same bike but in green.

How do you like the tail tidy, and where did you pick it up if you don't mind me asking?

The tail tidy works okay, the plate light is very bright, I picked it up at
http://ninja650shop.com/ with a free shipping discount of "650forum"
It was designed for British plates but there are adapters in the box.
What is that little thing on the right hand side of your tail piece (looks like an access panel)?
Kermit the Motorcycle gets new shoes.
Kenda K270's for the KLR. Both tires, shipped for <$80. These are a good 50/50 "bang for the buck" tire for a moderately ridden dual-purpose.
I've changed a ton of tires over the years, but haven't done one in about fifteen years. I was surprised I could even find my irons. How hard can it be?
Success! Just like riding a bicycle. They ride like a mud tire on the street, but other than the taller knobs flexing when leaned into a curve they ride very nice. The rear was a bitch to balance for the street, but pulled it in with 1.5oz of weight. I'll probably get to test them out off-road in a couple of days.

I can't believe I never posted my collection in this thread.
In the beginning, there were a bunch of hand-me-downs from Dad's friend, each one worth more than all the previous ones combined, none worth taking pictures of.
Then this one came along:
Modern, liquid cooled, fast, and new.
It's still around, I manage to ride it about once a year, and it starts easily each time.
But then I moved to the other end of the state, and got out of MX racing and into woods riding. So a woods bike was needed.
The day I got her,:
Third ride:
Likes to go fast:
But still likes to party:
But something street legal was needed:
Gone but not forgotten:
In fact, pretty much unforgettable
No matter how hard I try:
Needed something more streetier:
And the 600 needed to be replaced with something more reliable, and that something also turned out to be better in every possible way.

Seriously thought about getting one recently but self control got the better of me.

Your self-control is a dick.
