5.3L V8 with a 6 Speed. The new 5.3's do pretty good on the fuel. I'm averaging close to 20 MPG in mine. 26 or so on the Interstate.
The LTZ and High Country packages (SLT and Denali's in the GMC lineup) can be had with the 6.2L with the 8 speed. The LTZ's can get the 5.3 with the 8 speed, giving them some pretty impressive MPG numbers.

Thanks for the comments. About the only options are the infotainment display and rear camera, heated seats and the Z71 package. I've had a spray on bedliner put in and added a set of Weathertech floor mats, as I'd like to protect the interior as much as possible. Its quiet, comfortable to drive, and pretty spacious inside.

Is there anything I should do to the underside to help protect it from rust and corrosion?
