Badass truck btw So far I like them, but it's only been two days. An hour before I drove out if the tire shop, I was cruising around on the stock BFGs with 35k hard miles on them, so it was night and day difference. They're heavy, but I really only notice a slight difference in braking. It takes a bit more effort on the pedal. They do ride a lot stiffer than the stock tires, but not nearly as bad as Toyo MTs. For an 80lb tire with lugs the size of a pack of playing cards, they roll quiet and fairly smooth. You do feel each lug at idle speeds, but it smooths out as soon as you hit 5mph. I've got experience with Toyo MTs and Nittto Trails, but I wanted to try something different this time. So far, I'm glad I did. They look kickass. Not as kickass as the Baja TAs I really want, but I'm not spending $700+ per tire. There are two things I really like. The huge lug spacing doesn't fling shit loads of gravel like the old ATs did, and they don't feel as "squirmy" as the new ATs initially felt. If I get a few hours of free time this weekend, we're heading to the beach for some sand fun. |

A New 2013 Ford F-150 King Ranch!
Isn't he purdy? Tuxedo Black Metallic exterior, Adobe with Chaparral leather interior. The King Ranch luxury package with all the goodies. A 3.5L EcoBoost twin-turbo/direct injected engine with 365 HP @ 5500 rpm and 420 lb-ft torque @ 2500rpm. Killer! He rides and drives like a dream! No comparison at all to my previous '07 Ranger. http://thecool1.net/files/MyTruck00.jpg Oh, yeah, and I got a smokin' deal too! - enjoy, I am! |

Nice to see other Frontiers here.
I gave up on Shrock, canceled my order from last year and ordered some parts from Hefty Fab. |
