I just got into Houston from Texarcana.  I left there at 6pm and got here at 5 am.  Things would go smoother if drivers would learn how to be curtious.  By the time I got to the motel here, I was plumm wore out.  Hell, I got too tired to continue running jagg offs off the road.  Come on people, the shoulder isnt a traffic lane.  Hopefully I might get to see a looter a little later.Anyone else have a merry time on 45 cutting off rude drivers that were trying to speed along on the shoulder? Well, I gotta sleep.

I'm the type of jack ass that straddles the right land and emergancy lane so other people cant use the emergancy lane as a lane.    Its a pet peeve of mine!  I cant stand it when they do that.  My other pet peeve is when people with brand new cars or expensive cars take up 3 parking spots.  I usually park as close as possable w/o hitting it.    Infact If i have nothing better to do that day i willl park so close that i have to exit my passenger side door.  yea its a little extra work, but its fun watching the guy in the new BMW get in his passenger side then crawl around to the driver side.

Yes...yes they are!
I drive it everyday I'm not 'in-country' and the overall stupidity level seems to be on the rise.
That being said, there are worse places in the world to drive. I tell myself that alot when I'm on I-45

I just traveled I 45 last night around Houston between 7pm and 10pm, had no trouble at all. Average speed about 75 mph. But then I was running north bound towards DFW, and there was no traffic going my way. The south bound lanes were solid bumper to bumper for as far as the eye could see.

There were also numerous wrecks and stalls too... fullclip

I always thought it was better that they got off the road and made their turn.  I'm sure that they can turn their vehicle without me watching.

I just went through Texarkana yesterday on my way back to houston......you ain't lyin', what a bunch of shit heads.  My wife and I were almost killed a couple times by jerk-offs speeding past on the shoulder and then cutting in front of us.  People really suck sometimes

General rules of "safe" driving...
1)  All other drivers on the road you are on are asshats.
2)  "They" all want to kill you.
3)  Rules are made to be bent and broken. (especially traffic laws and customs)
4)  No matter how many asshats you see, there will always be one who is way more stupid than the rest,
    and he or she is seeking your bumper or fender to take off as another trophy to display to prove just
    how stupid they are.
5)  The more crowded the roadway, the stupider "they" get.

I never said anything about moveing to the right to make a turn.  Im mad about the drivers that are 30 cars back that whip over to the shoulder, accellerate to 70mph, then cut in front of you causing you  to have to lock up your brakes to keep from hitting them, just to get rearended by the semi behind you. BIG F'ING DIFFERENCE

 That is all fine and well, but not what I was talking about.  It IS illegal to move over to the shoulder, accelerate up, pass moving traffic, and cutting back in to said moving traffic, nearly causing multiple wrecks.   If you dont believe me, try passing the next Trooper that you come upon driving 50 in a 70 by pulling onto the shoulder, accellerating, then cut him off causing him to lock up his brakes.........Then feel free to quote to him how such a manuever is legal.
