Links for Mangia Pizza and map need to have the extra " http//" removed.
Thanks for setting all this up, hope I can make one this year. |
Sorry about that, no idea where the extra http:// came from! Hope to see you at a dinner.

Yo, Mrs G, disregard the question from my IM... so it is this Saturday...
I'm participating in a get together that's been planned for several months... but for Mangia pizza and my fellow ARFCOMmers, I'll try to bail for a little while and come partake in the pizza goodness. |
I'll do my best to make the 02/19 dinner. I don't want to miss that!
Are you really going to make one of these? |
Hey for Mangia Pizza...
I'm ditching a get together and turned down steak at a buddy's house. ALL FOR YOU GUYS!! Can you feel the love?? Hey, someone whip that schedule into HTML and I'll throw it up on my server at home for quick reference. |
Wonder if Mangia has birthday cake. Not like it's anyone's birthday on Saturday, no, of course not. But if it WERE someone's birthday on Saturday, I bet that person could really benefit from the fattening up on some cake.
Yeah right! MrsG wouldn't go through all that trouble for me. And it's not like I need fattening up either, Slim Jim... |
I'm gonna have to try to bring my buddy and new ARFCOMmer Handsome_Rob... we need to turn him on to the ways of the black rifle... He likes the SKS I gave him for Christmas... now we need to get him into MORE!!
No, I wouldn't. |

Something just came up that threw a little wrinkle in our weekend plans. My wife had to go to ER because of chest pain, and was admitted for at least an overnight stay. She says she's OK now, so she could be home again tomorrow afternoon, or we might be in for some extended medical fun....
We will keep her in our prayers. Best wishes to her for a speedy recovery and a good diagnosis. |
Big +1 to that! |

Whoa!!! Sorry to hear that! Best wishes and prayers for her speedy recovery! Please keep us informed and if there is ANYTHING I can do to help, just ask! |
Well, is ANYBODY else going to be there tonight besides the Peacher Clan??????????????
We'll be there!
Just picked up my wife at the hospital. They didn't want to keep her, so she has to come home. I told her she wasn't going to get out of watching the kids for too long. Everything is fine; she's eaten one meal in the last 48 hours, so she should be plenty hungry tonight. |
Heck yeah! |
Dang, talk about a big crowd for the Central Texas folks!
Good to see everyone again, and DVDTracker, thanks for the t-shirt delivery! |
It was nice to meet up with you guys. I'm sure I'll do this again.
True to form, I got to come home, the neighbor was out in his front yard. I let him know I'd closed his car door since he'd left it open all day long and then I got to visit with the Round Rock Police Dept when they showed up to let me know he'd been complaining about the dog again. I figure this will keep on until we wind up in court and I do my best to be reasonable... Cheers, Chris |
Sorry to hear about that. On the other hand - unless the guy is a sociopath or something, if it's annoying, you really do need to make sure the dog doesn't get out of hand. If he can hear it, and it's annoying, it will be an ongoing battle, and nobody (you included) needs that hassle. Can a dog trainer help? |
A very nice sized crowd indeed, especialy for the Cen Tex Krew!
Sorry to hear about the ordeal with your pooch, kk7sm. The suggestion of a trainer appears to be a sound one. It was very nice to visit with you and I hope you will join us again. |
Fun time last night. Funny how "maybe half a dozen people" turned into 19

Oh, yeah...
Dakota is taking clomicalm for anxiety and we are going to see a trainer, and a veterinarian, and a canine behavior therapist and I'm following all of the instructions for dealing with dogs with separation anxiety - breaking up the routine to keep him confused, ignoring him for the last 15 minutes when I leave and the first 15 minutes when I return, and doing short excursions where I leave for a little bit and come back. This guy calls the cops when Dakota is inside of my house. He usually waits until I'm gone and then calls. He's a known problem for the local police. He's called on every dog owner in a four house radius multiple times. Last night, the cops told me that if they heard the dog, they'd have to cite me, but I didn't have to plead guilty and I had the option of going to court (wink, wink) and if we went to court, I could bring lots of witnesses and I could explain what I'm doing to deal with the situation. They told me if I was being reasonable, it would probably work out okay and the neighbor was being "irate." I think they want me to go to court so the judge will tell him to leave me alone since I'm doing everything possible to deal with the situation. Seriously, the dog's only been here for three months, he's an inside dog, and they've had six complaints from one neighbor. Same guy who shouted at me in the middle of the street one day when I was walking Dakota. That said, I realize there's a problem, but I'm doing everything a reasonable person would do to try to fix it. Cheers, Chris |

Just thought I'd give this a bump. Couldn't find it with out doing a search.

Hi everybody,I need to find out which of the dinner locations is closest to Waco.
Thanks,Wayne |
Generally they're all in the Austin area. Last month we had people come in from Dallas and Corpus Christi to attend. |
If you're ever in the DFW or Houston areas, they also have regular meetups!
Gloftoe, thank you for pointing out this forum.
I'm interested in attending the April 16th meeting and look forward to meeting you all! :) |
Likewise! |
Unfortunately the misses and I will be out of town for the April dinner, probably the May dinner as well (3-gun match in San Angelo).
Details?! I won't be able to make the match in May, but I'd like to check it out anyway! |
3-gun match in San Angelo. Not competing, just going as a vendor.
