Well?
Per recommendation from Sully, I need to put some rounds on my lower to see where I need to do some trigger tuning.
Odd, but for some reason, I kinda like this homework from the Armorer's class |
I do want to go shooting Outside but I have to work this weekend
Too bad it wouldn't be next weekend stupid job that makes me work everyother weekend |
Sounds like a perfect time to break in the AK's, dont it |
Damn right! |
Saturday would work for me........where this will be my first ARFCOM outdoor shoot!
Damn skippy...when and where...? I got a half dozen new ones to try out.
I'm game but I'll have to check my ammo supplies and whatnot...running low and somewhat broke
Worst case I guess I can get up there and work the kinks out of this 1911, anyway. |
I might be ablke to make it Sunday if that is when it would be
Looks like it is going to be on Saturday Gathering time around 10 am
Would it be better if it was free This is going to be at a private range, just a couple miles north of Princeton and Western Branch You are going to either have to call me or IM me for directions |
I need to make some room here so,
I have of 4 cases of Sealed boxed XM193, I dont have room for it If anyone needs it let me know $110.00 per case of 500 |
dpmmn,
PM sent, DAMMIT, can't make it on Sat. Sunday would be the cats ass, too bad. SCOUTS OUT |
Don't think I can make it, boys. Kill some stuff w/out me!
Eli bringing the Tannerite? |
WTF? Are you ill? Do you have a fever? The end is nie! |
I need to replenish my supply. Does anyone have a spare FAL mag that they could bring with? I might be getting one, I'm gonna bring it with to test fire, but don't have any mags. |
Bummer on the Tannerite... I've got a *HUGE* box of model airplanes, ships, and cars that I've built when I was a child, and I'd kind of like to fill them with tannerite (or place tannerite nearby them) to blow them to pieces! I've taken a bunch of photos of the models, so I've got memories of them, but I'm just hoping to blow the crap out of the ones I've got saved up in boxes. I've also got a 19" CRT Monitor that can be used for a gun target (or for a PC if someone wanted it), and I'd likely find a million other targets to shoot as well...
Or is this a "Paper Only" private range? I'm assuming this is DEFINITELY a "Bring Your Trash Home With You" policy range though! Westbranch Gun Club seems to have a "Shoot it & it will eventually get blasted into smaller & smaller pieces" policy regarding 'reactive' targets. |
Only one? I can bring enough to make a big pyramid if you want, but we need to be able to leave them or someone else has to take them home and dispose of them. |
Reactive targets are ok, paper is too Yep if you bring out "junk or stuff", it will have to go back, this is a friend of mines Farm where we are going to be shooting at No Fee's for the useage but lets not ruin a good thing Some of the guys who were at Cold Weather Carbine met him So be Safe and Courtious and enjoy yourselves |
To who ever is comming on Saturday, it may be a good idea to bring some 9mm ammo. Just a heads up.
I'd help you out Eli but I don't have any. Someone should though. I'll talk to a couple people and see.
Nevermind the 9mm comment. I thought a friend of mine was going to bring a fun toy but due to fact that he doesn't have any 9mm himself is leaving it at home. Plus he said thats one more gun to clean too. |
Anybody have half a case of 7.62 AK ammo for sale?
Also, anybody commuting from the Roseville area that would be interested in commuting? I would be happy to chip in gas money. |
I'll bring some 7.62x39 up
I have to break in the Yugo underfolder |
Packing up the rust bucketmobile and heading out... See you guys there at about 10 AM.
Sorry DPMNN, I couldn't make it. By the time I would have left I think it would have been 11:00.
Thanks for the offer to bring ammo for me. I will have to come to the next AR-15 shoot. |
It was a FANTASTIC event.
I estimate 15k went downrange. Quite the collection of EBRs. I need to get me one of those Polish underfolders. Some of you guys need to lay off the Glock Kool Aid. Thanks Joe! Yoy have a great setup! |
I'd also like to personally thank Joe for letting us all out to his private land for some fun shooting at his personal range! That took a great deal of trust to invite us out there. And thank you for those GREAT brownies & snacks!
For what it's worth, I think you've got a nice setup there! And you're certainly seem to be a better welder than Sully! I just finished detail stripping & cleaning my Colt 1911 CCO, and my 22s... I certainly had a great time there today! Also, many thanks to those of you who let me run some of my ammo through some of your guns!!! Popping Osama with the slug-filled bird gun was a blast, as was shooting the Micro-XD-9, the 9mm Colt, and not to mention the AKs! For that price, you can't beat those AKs... They're pretty nice! Now I've got to buy more 45 brass & bullets because I forgot to take the time & police up all my 45 brass! Thanks to everyone for making it such a fun time! |
Here are some After Action pics for those sorry sacks that couldn't make it (even the ones who said they would show up, hint hint Ed )
www.animalinc.com/ar15/20060128/index.html (minor dial-up warning) A big thanks Joe. It was a great place for everyone to get together and aside from sliding on the ice a bit, it was a great time. I'll remember to either bring my ice skates or some sand next time. ETA to make link live |
I will get the Pics up that I took on Monday! It was a blast. I was looking at some of the pics I took and I have several of them that show 5 or 6 guys shootign the EBR and it just gives me chills. That is what it is all about, Citizens being armed. Just being able to do what we did today shows how great it is to be alive. The only thing that would have made it better was if we all had Full Auto guns. Thanks again Joe. |
A big thanks to Joe for letting us fill his yard with brass. I had a great time. A big thanks to dpmmn for arranging for us to shoot with Joe, and bumming a ride to a guy with out a car!!!!
ARs, AKs, FALs, M14s. Damn. Some nice guns guys.. Too bad I could not make it.
Looks like you guys had fun!
All your Wolf are bleongs to dpmmn! I like that! I'll hopefully be less busy for the next shoot. Got a lot of $hit going on right now |
