More likely than not, I'll be stuck at the Centralia Gunshow.
Stop by if you get a chance. I might try to drive up during a break. |
I'm going to try and get over on Saturday, and meet the fine folks on here.

Strong possibility for me....Fri. night is possible too. Just can't make a commitment.
I'd like to make it Sat/Sun. Is night shooting ok with the appropriate gear?
You mean like night-time tannerite with glow sticks? Or the propane tank ignition w/ incendiaries? |
That could be interesting. I was thinking more in line with NVG and glow sticks to mark boundaries.
+1 on Da_Bunny. Just got back from a week of camping. Maybe I've got enough good will built up after the 6.8 barrel buy. NOT.
nope, already doubled up work loads so much this month that there is no more days to double up on. sorry. 1GR, thanks for the offer, it could have worked if I could find the time off.

For the newer to the hometown section, can you give us some more details? What is the LCR shoot? Is everybody invited or just some friends shootin up?
Pretty much any Arfcommer is welcome, LCR is a state of mind not an actual thing.
Camping, shooting, all at a semi-secret location. Just meet up at I-5 exit 77 at the meeting time and convoy out or catch a ride out to the pit. We try not to give out the directions wantonly because it's a very clean pit(s) and we like to keep it that way. You don't have to be a friend to make it out. You don't even have to like us. The only way to decide if you like it is to give it a try. We do partake in alcoholic beverages at the campfire once the firearms have been put away. Some people just come for the morning shooting and head out shortly after noon. It's all good. |

I'll be in Portland Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I'd love to go shooting some. Patty
I'll probably come down. If I don't stay out late and sleep till 12
Tagaroo!
Can't believe I haven't made it to this part of arf yet......D0H! ETA: Color me interested |
Only 77 miles from PDX. Where was ya when TRG came up? We missed ya. |
Okay, after all of the sniveling in a thread that shall remain unmentioned I'll be there. So where the hell is exit 77. Do I just wander south on 5?
If you're North of exit 77 you do. |
Where is the shoot? If it's 77 miles from Portland - I'll probably miss it. I'm working all week end! What is "TRG"? Patty |

Egads, Well I'll try. I'll have my little boy with me if I can make it but I'll bring his chipmunk rifle for him to shoot. Patty |
Well, hopefully weather.com is wrong about the forcast for next weekend.
Thanks, Tweak. I was afear'ed Exit 77 meant Timbucktu, down south I5.
I'm in for Saturday....may be able to stay through Sunday.
Does anyone have some extra floorspace (preferably dry and inside a camper) that I could crash on fro Saturday night? I'm afraid my little 3-season tent won't like Lewis County in January. |
I want to know who is in charge of the Sat morning convoy leader?
I am now officially retired! |
I'm sure we can count on C_J for that!! |
thats my room you are giving away............... |
I just built myself a PVC target stand. Total cost in materials = $15
It holds 2 large bullseyes side by side. It wobbles a bit (I need to put a crossmember in between the lower legs next time), but it'll hold. I got PVC glue, but I doubt it will need it. |
Yeah, the first thing to go are the stands................... |
Lowes has 50 pack bundles of 4 foot 1x2 stakes for 20 bucks. I pick up a bundle to use some for a little CQB at GF tomorrow, maybe. The rest I'll bring to LCR. Those that don't survive become firewood.
Bring anything you want to shoot at. Just remember that it needs to be cleaned up before you leave, so the less messy the better. Bowling pins are always popular. Water filled bottles, clay targets, etc.... |
I'd like to think I can shoot better than that.... |
I might stop in for a day, I don't think i can stay though.
what the hell town is it again? Hopefully I get my uzi by then so I can try it out. I changed the extractor on my AR so I want to test fire that too. |
Does that mean you are going to be there? Your name ain't on the list.... |
I don't have a truck anymore I have my Honda so is long as there is no snow and no flooding I am going. |
Do you guys let people from the dry side come play too?
Wombat P.S. Where and when are you meeting up? |
Absolutely!! The plan is, if you come up Saturday, meet at exit 77 off I-5 at 0900. Then you will convoy up to the pit. If you want to come out on Friday, make arraingements through IMs with somebody else that's going Friday to meet somewhere and follow. Be prepared for rain ya dry sider! |
I can always use yours, especially during the swiss cheese festival. |
Hey, yours kinda looked like that too ya know! "Look out, it's coming right for us!!" |
I know that cost me $385.00 at lease end......... |
