Holy shit. Learn how to fucking read. Ed is not debating whether or not there is a problem with illegals, nor am I. In fact, he plainly stated that there is a problem. That is not why he started this thread. Therefore, it is out of the scope of the discussion that Ed intended to have!!! I am not saying that you or anyone else here does not understand the scope of the problem with illegals. Get it?!?!?! |

I will repeat this one more time and not post here again,since two things are obvious.
The first is that despite the numerous repetitions of my request,some of you insist that it has anything to do with liking,loving,etc illegal immigrants. All I ask is that YOU DON'T USE DEROGATORY TERMS (my definition) in your discussion of illegal immigration. I suppose some of you just want to continue to claim that those of us from out of state are lobbying for love/acceptance,etc of illegal aliens.So you go on to describe the damage to the economy,increased crime rate,etc...............WHICH CAN CLEARLY BE DONE WITHOUT USE OF DEROGATORY TERMS.I can understand the discussion here over wheteher a word IS/IS NOT a derogatory term,but not the insistence in trying to convince us that illegal immigration is criminal/not welcome and illegal!(Duh!  ).Nobody is saying it is good/acceptable,etc.(double Duh!)The second thing that is obvious,is that some of you just "don't want to give it a rest".Even though you understand very well that my request is to NOT USE certain terms,you go on with your diatribe on how illegals ruin your state,etc,etc, etc. NOBODY IS SAYING ANYTHING TO THE CONTRARY!(Saying I "understand" why someone would steal bread to feed starving children,does not in any way condone stealing.The same applies to illegal immigration)I want to thank those who agreeing (or disagreeing) with me, are willing to grant my request NOT TO USE THE TERM!<---for those that insist I am requesting that you love illegals! Garryowen,thanks for your post and your regard for me and my family.As you know,the brotherly love from us to you and your guys is reciprocal!Derek gets along with my sons and me just fine,as we have proved in the past! Last,I want to tell you that I am aware of the ancestry of those mentioned before (WW,sanguine,TopCrest,et al).If my request had anything to do with "loving illegal immigration"(which it does not) it would still not refer to these fine gentlemen,because they are as native and patriotic as any of you.DM and SR would not even figure into the equation,since their ancestors were here before anyone else's I have the greatest love,respect and admiration for the Arizona crew.I do not get together with any other group as often as I do with the AZ,TX and NY/NJ crews.This is in part because of geographic and personal reasons (son lives in Phoenix,I live in NY,etc),but i also get together with these groups BECAUSE I LIKE THEM.If it were not so,I would go to AZ and spend no time with WW,TREETOP<and so many others.There are people in AZ whom I love as brothers/sons.I try not to visit Phoenix without a brief get together with all who want to have a beer together,and always will..................providing I have the time! With this, I end my rant. Do as you wish.I have asked for something.I have subsequently told you to do something for me.And now...................I will act on those who insist on ignoring my request .

I understand that, but that is not what Ed Sr. was trying to address in this thread. That's what I keep trying to say here. Nobody is disputing that there is a tremendous problem with illegal aliens in the southwest. |

I've got a few damn things to say.
Why is it that the site staff can go around freely saying the word tonk and expect us not to use it? My member ship runs out in february and I will be renewing.
Being a minority(left handed caucasion) Iam ridiculed at work and other places just for being different and gifted. I know that when I come here however the site ownership and its staff/mods will not let any you ridicule me for being special. Left handers have been in strife since the beginning of time often made to do schoolwork right handed in their early years because they didnt think it was "normal" or the work of the devil. Now some of you probablly think, "hell Ive got a friend or two thats left handed and I poke fun of him or her everynow and then and we get a good chuckle out of it". Its not cool and believe me your left handed friend does not think its a bit funny. I know its not popular yet to make fun of and bully the lefties of the board but I know its coming soon. THere will be derogatory phrases and names in everyother thread for about the first day and then it will come to a screeching halt. The illegal immigration problem is not just concentrated in NM and AZ; it’s all over. There is not a state that is not hit and hit hard with the Illegal Mexican population.
If you don't think there is a problem then you haven't been looking very hard, who do you think is taking the jobs in McDonalds, and the other fast food joints. The janitorial jobs, and yes those loveable illegal immigrant gangs that have no remorse in killing anyone. The governments of the states, and the United States federal government are both encouraging Illegal immigration with unprecedented zeal. As a nurse I have found illegal immigrants on the taxpayer dollar, that will refuse to learn English, or assimilate into the culture of the Untied States. There are some that expect that I will speak Spanish to them, what utter horseshit. We also have “legalized illegal immigrant” that have refused to assimilate into the culture and learn English. What country are we in? Last time I checked it was the USA, not Mexico. There are currently about 20 million illegal immigrants and in a post 911 situation can we afford this many illegal immigrants? Many of whom, wish to displace other minorities and are displacing other minorities, by any means necessary. A prime example is Watts in LA. It is becoming another Mexican town, displacing the blacks that had been there and are now forced out. The “ derogatory” terms that you decry are a measure of the frustration level that effects not only them and their community, but the unwillingness of the government to do anything but pander to the illegal immigrants. The government is rigged, The courts are rigged, Police have either been instructed to ignore immigration status out of policy or if they pick up an illegal immigrant the INS will not come get them. This is public knowledge. There will be no relief and the pressure cooker is getting ready to explode. Some in the government are aware of the problem and their managers are stopping them. Make no mistake this is a full-scale invasion. And we have been sold out. |
