Maybe the guys down town watching the video feed from the cameras on his house got tired of seeing the finger and people smoking weed and want more action....

Anyone see that video in GD yesterday of the woman pulled from the car by the gang and them beating the hell out of her...? That was in Oakland...

Oakland is not all bad. The area around Lake Merritt is kind of nice (used to be) and of course, the area around Park Ave. and Highway 13 is pretty upscale. The industrial areas near 880 are mostly safe places to work during the day.

San Pablo Ave. is crappy; East 14th too. Those places are like a different world. I would not go near those areas at night.

One day I took Broadway down to E. 14th and followed it all the way to Trader's. That area sucks. I would hate to have the car crap out down there.
