The Semi Carrier Now has more meat around the Firing pin area. Like the M-16 Carrier
Rock River and Les Baer are both doing this now on the Semi Auto Groups Colt has been doing this but shaves off the rear of the carrier all the way back like a half moon Both Les Baer and Rock River semi carriers are still full circle at rear of carrier to semi auto specs. Pete, would the RAS fits RRA heavy M4 barrel (.835 dia behind the front sight)? im trying to put the upper half into the handguard cap for half hour with no luck, do you think i have to flare the cap a bit?

The config I'd like to see from RRA (and don't see on their site) is a preban handled (A1 or A2)--not a detachable, M4 upper w/ chrome lined barrel.
Now, THAT I would pay for. Not that I don't find their stuff nice, and I may someday pic one of their rifles up. I'm just saying that if the config noted above was available, I would be all over it in a heartbeat. |

Curious... these enhanced bolt carriers... enough weight difference to affect cycling (for the better, perhaps)? Any probs with the M16-like ramp negating the firing-pin/hammer-cut safety? Do you get bolt assemblies from RRA pre-assembled or do you have to put every one together yourself?  Thanks |

Couple of questions, Pete:
1) Will RRA ever make a plain barrel M4-type barrel w/out the faux flash suppressor? I'd rather have a KKF A2 tac brake on it. 2) Will RRA ever make chrome lined 20" government profile barrles with a 5.56 chamber like Bushmaster? If so, you have a customer here! One more thing, are your flat top uppers complete or stripped? How much for a complete one (i.e. with ejection port cover and forward assist)? Thanks! |
