AGP,
That's pretty frickin' sweet! Any plans to build one with a sling attachment that would work with the stock folded? |

Is that a crush washer I see between the barrel and can? |

When will they be available? I've got a couple right now, but more soon. Quoted:

look forward to a review. can i get a pic of the butt plate?

look forward to a review. can i get a pic of the butt plate? This and the receiver to mount braket interface with the stock folded. Looks like a nice package. Even better if it had provisions for a rubber butt plate. Does it? |

The picture with the can made me a little giddy no lie. Looks awesome. You guys sell detachable cheek welds for that stock?

Rubber butt pads are in the works. For right now ACE butt pads can be used.

is this the same one that you have listed for the .22LR AR-15?

Do the empty cases clear it if you fire while it's folded? I'll do some more testing on that but right now I shot it a little with it folded just to see if they would clear and in those 8-10rnds. it seemed fine. So if you were in a pinch and it was folded, it should lay down some lead to get you out of a jam. |

is this the same one that you have listed for the .22LR AR-15? Pretty much. Just slightly different for the SIG. They have two different depths they have bored the rear anti-rotation hole. |

Quoted:
How much does it weigh? I think it was 12oz for the whole assembly. I remember that it is exactly 8oz lighter than a M4 assembly. |

You could make a very simple 1 piece molded riser that clicked on with QD interfaces to the 2 QD points on the stock body.

Another quick couple questions. Is the lock button aluminum, steel or polymer and when is it going to be available?
|
|
The lock button itself is polymer.
The stock will NOT work on the 522. |
|
Do you guys offer a military discount?
I am very interested in one. Release date? |
|
I'd like to see the stock with the buttpad installed........still on the fence on this one. I think I might like it with a buttpad and cheek rest.
|
|
Sorry we currently have no discounts available on them.
They are available right now as pictured and can be used with ACE rubber butt pads. We will have a few of our own butt pads and cheek rest options in the future. |

how much is the stock going for? They are up on our website under AR15 right now cause we haven't done a full product release yet for the SIG. But we've sold a few to SIg guys, just put that it's for a SIG in the customer notes at check out, cause they are a little different. |
|
Well, tomorrow is the big day. This stock gets delivered to the first 556 customer. I sold my CTR set up to pay for it so I hope it is as great as it looks.

Great stock! This thing is rock solid when extended. It really feels like a solid non-folding buttstock. There is even a big difference between that solid feel and the slight play in the collapsing AR style tube riding stocks. The install was straight forward and easy (took 3 minutes or so?).
It is pretty light. The entire assembly (receiver plug, screws, stock body, etc.) weighed only 11 ounces on my digital postage scale. I would think that folks who want to run this stock with a heavy railed hand guard and bunch of crap hanging off of it may need to add a buttpad and riser of some sort to help with the forward weight bias. Of course, you could just take all of the heavy crap off the front of your gun and use lighter 552/ 551 style hand guards. If you use this stock and some of the lightest hand guards (MFI's 552 type or cut down 550's are lightest) and a non-compensating muzzle device (pretty much any flash hider other than a heavy Levang or KX3) and any BUIS you'll have an SBR that weighs only 6.7 lbs.! There is no wiggle when folded to the side. It stays there by friction/ tension in the hinge. The stock looks good on the 556. This is a great and inexpensive alternative to the option of trying to get a classic lower. Thank you for the great product. |

Dear Santa,
I'd like a new digital camera for Christmas. Accomplice1 Print this off and mail it |

We don't have anything for the classic. I think the classic guys are kind of stuck with that factory stock. Sorry.

Looks like a winner for a folding stock option. I am in the sandbox now and will be getting one of these before I leave next year to put on my 556 bought in 08. I have a Magpul 93B stock on it now and that is a heavy stock makes the rifle much more heavy than stock. Congratulations on building a better mousetrap hope you sell lots of them. Any plans for FDE or OD?
|
|
Acomplice it looks good! I'm curious it looks like there' s not much room for a buttpad to be installed with you charging installed. It looks like it would be ok, with the stock charging handle what are your thoughts?
I'm on the fence with this stock probably because it doesn't look complete. I think the manufacturer should install a buttpad I think that would help a lot. IMO! |
