Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - KIMBER Polymer Gold Match Stainless...

Thinking of getting one...does anyone have any comments on it?  Good, bad, ugly?  The grip is .200 larger in circumference & it holds 10rds and can take a 14rd magazine also.  Has everything the Gold Match does but is polymer based with adjustable sights.

Dealer is asking $804.00.

Great gun, but mags are hard to come buy and expensive.

Well, I placed an order for it.

10rd Mags are $13.50 for blued, $18.50 for SS.
The 14rd Mags are $78.00.

Check out www.1911forum.com in the Kimber forum.  There seems to be a lot of concerns about Kimbers polymer frames and reliability.  They might have the bugs worked out by now though.  I have two Kimbers and they would be the last two handguns I own to go.  Simply great.

That's a great price btw, can't get near that out here in Cal.  Happy birthday!
